Because the mentality is more "5 buck 5 buck fucky fucky"... i.e. Push the guys to spend money which pushes them away.. Guys want to hear the girls and since many don't speak english they don't even have audio.. and on places like iFriends, the studios flood the listings with the "crap" girls and so the "real" ones can't get much play. And in the back of every guys mind is the "hope" that they might be able to hook up RL with that girl.. If she's not even in the states, there's no chance for that.. All of these little things combine to make webcams less attractive to the average joe.

And since these girls just get guys in, get them off quick and out again.. there's less recurring revenue.. Becausue making a few bucks off the cams is often a lot of money for them, they don't have much incentive to prolong the experience.
