I pay 500$ to anyone who can tell me why i don't get bookmarkers !
Bah, it's been like that for a few weeks now.... i tried a few diffrent layouts for my site, i didn't put any banner... i'm just trying to get bookmarkers, i'm buying at the moment 5k daily se hits for the site, i get alot of traffic, but only 1% or someting bookmark it.
If you'll help me to get around 30% - 60% of the traffic that i'm getting to bookmark my site i'll pay you 500$ paypal ! This isn't a tgp traffic, blind link traffic or someting like that, it's ppl who doesn't know that the world is free of other 100% FREE site my my tgp. Here is my current deisgn - http://www.zex69.com/ - as you can notice it's very very very simple and clean, only a list of 1000 galleries, you can see the old design on - http://www.zex69.com/teens.html - the old design got even less bookmarkers than the current design. |

But why would some one want to bookmark your site? It looks like shit and there is no real content there. If i was a surfer i would not bookmark it, something like thehun etc i would bookmark and come back to. Spend the $500 and redesign your site. |

You don't really need to put "DAILY FREE GALLERY" next to every single gallery... |
Make a niche tgp with content which can't be found on every tgp there is. That will help.

You have a header that says AMATEURS but have many galleries that are pro photo shoots that I've seen in other sets on other sites (I only clicked on 5, 3 of them fell into this category). An AMATEUR should look like it was taken at home by a home-user style camera, IMO. If you want the site to look nicer, use a different Font. It'll look cleaner if you use VERDANA. Easier on the eyes, especially with that much text. Also, break up the listing into groups of 50 or so. You could slap on some pictures on the side that are just bonus, not even a sponsor link. The only chick you see is the banner, and she's avg looking. I'm sorry I was blunt, but in my opinion, what I suggested in changes would probably increase your bookmarks. I agree with what the rest are saying. You aren't getting bookmarkers because the site isn't any good. It is flat and boring and has no character, except for the character it gets from having such a bad design.
Let me put it another way... The viewers see "just another damn TGP"... And there are already thousands and thousands of those. What sets you apart? You need a far better design, some character, and a feature they haven't seen before. Buying SE traffic doesn't mean people will bookmark a bad site. |
heh, this one is easy...here goes
1. make sure you have WORKING bookmark links and the usual "Nutscrape users press "ctrl"+"d" to bookmark" 2. Design means shit...keep it simple. The hun probably has one of the ugliest sites...but people bookmark him becuase CONTENT is king...period. Don't worry about a great layout, blah blah...just put the links there and let em browse your galleries. 3. Watch out for traffic leaks...they will kill your bookmark ratio. :2 cents: |

1% bookmarking it is AWESOME, that would grow expodentially.
1 % off 100 people is 1 person next day 1% off 101 people is 1.01 people next day 1% of 102 people is 1.01101 people 100 days later 1% of 200+ peopl is 2 people year later 1% of 365+ people is 3.65 people within a year you'd have grown to many many times your size. If the hun did this by next year he'd have well over 5 million hits |

Yeah, where are you buting that SE traffic? I would think it would be too expensive to be worthwhile, especially since you're making it into TGP traffic.

Get rid of the pop-up. Surfers hate them. Give thumbnail previews of the galleries you post and updated them daily.

1. niche your tgp 2. hire a pro to redesign it 3. get a new domain name that's easier to remember and applies to your niche (zex69 isn't very good) 4. if you can get him, hire Amp to do a logo for you. That's what I did and Amp's logo made it easier to remember and it burns the name of my site into my surfers brains. I've been getting a good amount of bookmarkers. You might think your name and site are great but it's hard to be objective when it's your own site that you built. This is 2002 but your site looks like it was made in 1995. And take the scroll off. You shouldn't have anything animated on a site that you want people to return to. I remember hearing that when people are reading a page that if anything is animated on it, some surfers will actually put their hand on the screen to cover whatever is moving so they can concentrate on the page without the distraction of an animation. |
