What's the best way to drive large amounts of traffic to your site for free?

heres another one you can do on the cheap:

print out a page that has your keywords, and your domain on it in a really big bold font, then along the right side, put the same information over and over again in a smaller format (think fortune cookie).

now, take some scissors and cut part of the page so that interested parties can tear the important info off and put it in their wallet.

staple these to telephone poles.

with minimal startup capital, you could have some tshirts made with your domain name across the front, and buy some soap and buckets.

find some hot college girls and hold a car wash! :thumbsup

MCRiv, yer looking for the impossible. Spend some money and buy some traffic. Go with trafficholder. Buying clicked traffic by niche is the way to go, and their prices are very reasonable. :thumbsup

Getting traffic is without a doubt the hardest job you will ever have and it is by no means cheap or easy.

Building up quality traffic through search engines takes time but it can be done and you should start on it right away. First trade hard links with about 20 like minded sites. Check on them from time to time and make sure they keep your link up. This process will take you a few weeks. If you aren't sure what hard links or page rank are, search this board and you'll see. Google updates page rank about once every quarter (or so I heard?) and I hear the next update is about the first of August so work hard to get your links in the next 30 to 45 days, so that you are sure to have a good, solid PR for the next update after the August one.

Next learn all you can about search engine optimization and do the best you can to get a good listing on your desired keywords for Google. Having a hgiher page rank will help you with that process but it's only one step in the process. If you don't know what search engine optimiazation or SEO is, google it, find out - learn EVERYTHING you can about it. It will be extremly important to your success as a webmaster.

Go trade some more links and any money you happen to make put aside to buy some traffic but research it carefully to spend wisely. Any money you make from that, put that up to buy more traffic and so on and so on.
