    I had such a sheltered childhood...

    ... I didn't even realize Liberace was gay until it was all over the newspapers.

    How did I miss that?

      I only remember knowing after he died BUT I was so young at that point that I just might not have known much about what it was to be gay.

          did you see what he wore? or how his pianos were decorated? or how he acted?

          its like when people wonder why celebrities like Luther Vandross (RIP) or Barry Manilow are never in public with women or were married.... hmmmm..

              He did say childhood..so perhaps, like me, he wasn't that up on 'gay signals' as a young child.
