10 days in Tampa and my stuff finally got here!!!
FINALLY, I got to sleep in my own bed last night! The movers arrived at my place in Cali a week before the Xbiz show, so I came to Tampa right after Vegas.
So three weeks later, mover guy "Sevi" calls me on Sunday, telling me he has my stuff and wanted to deliver it Monday. Of course by the time 5 PM Monday rolls around I get the phone call asking if he can deliver it the next day. :mad:OH HELL NO:mad:. So I tell him I'd get some guys to help him unload the truck if he can get it to my place that night. Sharky from Massive Dollars first came to the rescue because this guy refused to pull his 18 wheeler up to the door, wanting to charge me extra for "shuttle" fees. So Sharky pulls his new Ram truck up to the side loader and they start unloading my stuff.
After the first load was brought up, the guy starts sweating me for the balance in cash. I tell him no problem, Dirty D was on his way with the big bills to pick up the tab and Sharky tells him to just keep working he'd give him his credit card if the guy stops wasting time. He starts whining about how it was 11 PM and he shouldn't be unloading anything without upfront cash... blah blah blah...
He's telling all of this to Sharky as they are sitting in his truck, and Dirty D, Graphic Dude, and Schindla roll up. The last load had been put in the Ram and the driver refused to do anything else till he got paid. He goes over to D's window to tell him there are extra "shuttle" fees and trying to get more money. D's answer is FUCK NO. Dirty D looks at the load on the truck and says, "Is that it? I thought I had to get physical..." suddenly the driver dude throws his hands up and says, "We can talk it out!!! We can talk it out!! No need to get physical!" and backs away.
D was talking about lifting furniture! Driver dude thought he was going to get rolled:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh The rest of us could barely keep from busting out laughing when we figured out the misunderstanding. Classic. The guy is freaking out because my boyz came to the rescue. HAHAHAHAHA.
So now I'm OFFICIALLY moved to Tampa and wondering who Dirty D isn't sending a check to, and if we are sending you a check... how can we make it bigger! Just 6 months left to get your share of the Million Dollar Bonus. |
