Do dashes make a difference?

Which is better for SEO

1. JMMhasahugecock.com or

2. JMM-has-a-huge-cock.com

They both have very little effect these days but the latter is better.

Dashes are better, but to cover yourself get both.

It's for search engine optimization -- not someone typing. The search engine will spit out a link to the domain. The non-dashed version is for typers (or for people who have a broken spacebar). Ahem.

Both are fine, but the second one is easier to look at...

2. JMM-has-a-huge-cock.com

I'd go with the first since I'm quite sure that google knows multiple url dashes almost always equals spam.

dashes make your url keywords separated, and treated like separate words when using a search.

Google is perfectly capable of seperating keywords in non-dash domains.
So screw dashes.

Dashes separating keywords make them separate keywords, but google tends to devalue URLs with more than 2 hyphens ...
