What do you know about paysite "spoofing". Is your paysite protected from it?

Not exactly sure what this is all about but it doesn't appear to have anything to do with passwords. Anyone have details?

I'm not going to download this muck-a-muck and find out what it does for sure, but my GUESS is:

It spoofs referring URLs. A ton of sites that offer "bonus sites" or feeds authenticate by referring URL from the main paysite (shitty way to do things I might add).

Seems to me that's what's going on here. :2 cents:

The shitty part is the feed company really doesnt give a fuck, cause most charge you based on how much bandwith you use.

Shit you could end up with one serious fucking bill? If you wanted to really fuck someone, find a feed they use that charges per gig and then post on loads of surfer boards how to do it using their domain as the referrer.

the spoof time is over. there is nothing interesting to be spoofed anymore, and nobody can download whole site with spoof, only watch and wank ;)

ummm.. Ok.. well I posted this in reference to a board where there was a thread posted just a couple months ago. Some people were posting how great it was just in the last couple weeks.
