I finally broke 100 on my golf game....when i break 95 im buying a new driver
 

Checking some of these out..they are stellar nice and expensive..but i bet i smash the ball an extra 30 yards.

The best thing I ever did was take my driver out of the bag. I can hit my 3 wood 240 - 250 yards and a hell of a lot straighter so I have become content with that :P

ah..yeah more controlon a 3wood over a driver

but i seem to be hitting long and straight with the driver these days

250- 280..not too badly....but 220-250 on target

it just all clicked the other day

now i can work on my short game and really knock some strokes off

after a few hours hard work..im going to do a 9 hole par 3..so i can kick plat daves ass tomorrow

for the front 9 thats not bad

breaking 100 in your game is a HUGE milestone. If you are able to do that consistently you are better than 90% of the golfers world wide. This also mean you now trust your swing

my putter is almost worth the cost of my clubs..lol

ill buy certain clubs i like soon...and next year ill upgrade all the irons etc

i have Paradise set now...cheapies..but they seem to be doing me good:)

But suddenly golfed with the certain people that don't keep proper score and he breaks 100.

Unless you had lessons with tiger I don't think you can shave off 10-15 strokes in one game from your yearly avg.

i drive further then anyone..and putt better..and alli do is work in my chipping...im going to eliminate another 10 strokes by end of summer

those burners are fucking awesome. i've hit them a few times with some of the l.a. guys here.

i shot a 104 a few weeks back and yesterday i got humbled on the sister course to the one i shot 104 on. i shot 128 easy. i was so pissed. wow, it was terrible.

i love this game. to me if something doesn't kick me in the nuts and challenge me, i get bored with it so fast.

it fell apart on the back 9 cause of the drinking

i triple bogeyed the par 3's that is why i ended up there.

i got 6 on 6 holes in a roll on the back nine

to be 100% honest

on hole 11...it was under construction

i shot an extra ball because i was freaked out i was about to hit the construction guys..and they never stopped....so that ball was a gimme

but im keeping it...there are never bulldozers in between you and your drive

I love my Ping G5 Driver. Best club for the price on the market.

been forever since, I played golf, But sometimes it's very easy to beat your average if you get into a groove. I probably suck really bad at this point.

on the 4th hole i hit DH in the head...he was on the green and i had a blind 125 yard chip to put on the green

Golf is a fucked up game. I was on the 6th tee at 1 over par, and ended up with 7 pars and only one double bogey, for a 73.. Small course, par 60 I think.

100 is pretty good

I've been playing golf for 2 years and this year I've consistently hit under 100. My best so far is 97 but I'm really gonna break that soon. By the end of th season here I want to be hitting 92. I don't use my driver btw as I don't have total control over, I prefer to go with along iron off the tee so to compensate for the distance I'm losing, I bought a driving iron.

I used my friends 3 times during our round last week and I was hitting it 230 yards. If I can do that everytime then I'll take easily another 5 shots off my game if not more. As soon as I hit 90 consistently I'm buying myself a set of Taylor Made clubs as a treat to myself. Believe what you want but I seriously think clubs make a HUGE difference. I think with a Taylor Made set I'll take my game to the next level. :)

yeah i think you are right...the clubs help a lot.

io have good control with my driver though..so im happy with it.
im going to be looking into a lob wedge though soon.

I have a 1 handicap and use the Callaway FT-3 or 5, not the square one

I shoot in the mid 90's but shot an 83 last week :thumbsup ...went back this week as shot a 93. :disgust

I bought a Hippo 440cc at the begining of the season and it has saved my ass on numerous occasions. Best $100 I've ever spent.

save the money and buy yourself some lessons.

I spent $400 on a Nike driver and no matter how much I hit with it, I still hit infinitely better with my $30 hippo driver. I keep the Nike in my bag because it's golfer bling but I always hit with the Hippo.

Take 3 clubs. A putting iron, a 3 wood and a 5 iron. Anything other than that is overkill until you get under 90.

he joked about meeting him and how lucky it is, as he could maybe help me get a big deal( i told them i do NEt advertising..lol)..i could get advertising gig from them.....anyway..im going to dinner at his restaurant this week to bring it up again..lol

When I started playing at a course I only used my 7 iron really. I'd just put my hands WAY forward if I wanted it to go far, and straighten up if I wanted it to go higher.. :) I had a big 7 iron with a deep sole, and just hit it better at the time. I started using my grandfather's blades from the 1960's or 70's, not nice..

Tough love for sure, but learning on old blades really makes you improve your ball striking. I wouldn't be as good now without going that route (not that I'm good or something, but I can play)

I don't use a driver either, I have a small taylor made "tour spoon" (two of them actually, different model years) at 13 degrees. Regular 3 wood is about 16. It has a tiny little head, but is pretty heavy, so when I whip it around it goes. People wonder how the hell I hit the ball, but I wonder how they do it with those massive things.. I can never get them around with any speed.

Here's my set, I have nike pro combo irons, and a mix of other random clubs.

I now use my 7 iron the least it seems. :)

Drivers aren't going to help your score anyway, all the strokes are shaved off in the short game.
