Add Firefox Bookmarks from Text File??????????
 

I have a ton of bookmarks on text tile from an old computer. I want to add them to firefox bookmarks. Every time I try to do this it just adds the url at the top of the list. Is there any way to do this or will i have to visit each site manually and then bookmark it?

This utility will read from flat file let you organise as you want and then send to Firefox or IE.

I don't wish to sound ungrateful dopy, but I havent posted on gfy for a bit, so I don't really know you. Im uncomfortable downloading a file from a stranger. Could you please tell me the application or name something similar for me to find? Sorry and thanks...

Once you get it all sorted get the Firefox "Foxmarks" extension. It can store and sync all your bookmarks between multiple computers. Love it.

Still no solution. Im amazed its so hard. All i want to do is transfer some text urls to firefox bookmarks.

I gave you the program to do this and it does work providing you have a flat file with one URL/line. You first read in firefox marks to the dbase, then you read in the flat file, then you export it all back to firefox by overwrting the firefox bookmarks html in app data/mozilla/bla bla
