Kinky Dollars - members frequently retain 6 months or more.

Every program with have at least one or two members that stick around for a LONG time. It doesn't mean they like the content or that the members are even still alive. It's just something that happens. Asking the retention of the average member might be more useful :)

Don't you have other webmasters to confide in for a question like this? You'll just get loads of worthless information on here from sponsors and sig whore (i.e. bullshit)

Our retention is great, we have exclusive content, updates almost every other day, and alot of the sites get access to another site that is full of content (not one of the dinky sites that have a 40 sets on them). A lot of the times the reason people cancel their subscription is because they signed up to a NonNude site, not realizing it was nonnude LOL. We really strive on orginality and quality and I think our members see that in the content.

Im trying to gauge price points vs. retention in this subscription model. Why do some sites reatain better than others (despite obvious reasons like regular updates, bonus access etc.)? If the average lifetime of your $29.95 monthly subscriber is 6 months or more, you need to write a book!

Dirty D's sites retain like crazy and have for years!

I have some members from 2001 (they used checking accounts)
Dozens from 2004
Hundreds from 2005
etc.

I love it when a member emails me because they can't login, it turns out their credit card has expired and then they join again! If an affiliate sent them, I give them credit for the next multi year join as well.

why would I tell you? I have a sponsor where almost 50% of my rev is from rebills. Is that good?

50%? No, it's not good IMHO. Good ones allow you to earn >=100% on rebills. I've already posted a link to such a sponsor :2 cents:

I goto say my best retainer to date is Met-art.

This is true the site is just huge takes 12 months to see it all and then 3 updates per day live webcams etc saw a met art rebill the other day at 42 rebills in my stats
