Good fake TGP script?

Have you looked at TGPX?

tgpx or smart thumbs are both good

anything less advanced? they have lots of features i don't need

I'll second or third the nod for TGPX.

While it may seem overkill for what you want to do - you may end up using some features them down the line (say you expand and get the server license and build multiple sites for example).

Though it may look complicated at first, the learning curve isn't really that steep.

Txt file (1 gallery per line)

php script, $blah = file(db.txt); shuffle($blah); foreach() www.php.net

I've went from rotator to tgpx this week, and all in all it's been okay. I can't say that I've totally figured out how to everything I'd like to be able to...mass editing of gallery weights, for example...but I think it's a good product.

I have a custom one that I can give you free, it has a lot of limitations but its multycategory and all you need is upload a txt file with you galleries (url|description|thumb) and set up a cronjob
