Linklists + SEO = bad?
I've been hearing controversial opinions on the topic and I'm not really sure where I stand as I'm not an SEO expert. It would make sense to me that if you link back to a "bad neighborhood", it being a dump you submitted your link to, you could find yourself unhappy with the outcome in the eyes of google, etc. I guess the ultimate question, is if in fact there's any truth to this theory, how would one go about researching the sites they link back to to find out if they're considered "bad neighborhoods"?
Thanks a lot, JM |
Don't link to them unless you know for a fact it is a good one.

you lost me a bit here but here are my 2c
I submitted to link lists for about a year from 4-5 domains on different ips, none of these domains got any SE traffic at all !!!! so basically adding sites to LLs didn't help me with the SEs. On the other hand some of the link lists themselves have some really good Google listings and I got some good traffic from them and made some $$$ too as for getting linked from bad sites most probably Google simply ignores these links rather than punishing you, otherwise everybody can easily bump off a competitor or two by spamming their links to forums, guestbooks etc |
