I just got a $1500.00USD Wire, which came out to 1514.50CAD.

Same problem with USD-AUD. My startup screen is a little script that shows short/long term averages and also details of the past 30 days. In that time alone the rate has gone from 0.8559 to 0.8865

$USD1000 @0.8559 = $AUD1168.36
$USD1000 @0.8865 = $AUD1128.03

40 bucks difference doesn't seem like much, but that's a -3.5% change in 30 days... and it's been happening longer than that. Definitely not a good trend.

For some contrast, in 2001 $USD1000 = $AUD2083.33

In 2003 1 usd = 12 skr, now, 1usd = 6,70 skr

The current exchange rate is depressing. Doesn't look like it will get better anytime soon.

how much longer does he have in office anyways? Probably at least 5 or 6 years until whoever takes over manages to fix it. Unless his brother gets elected or something, then it'll just go down more.
