College Girl Cash Raises Site Prices

Due to faster broadband downloading and illegal site ripping, http://collegegirlcash.com is going the same way as Hollywood movies. Hollywood, in order to slow down pirating, releases movies in all market globally and now is about to hike up ticket prices

We are raising prices to obtain membership into our sites and offering the SINGLE sale as the 1st option to $39.99 and the 2nd option of recurring to $34.99/rebill at $19.99. We've filled the site with tons of original videos, mostly fetish niche style, such as Balloon popping, Lap dancing, bubblegum chewing, ass worship Jack Off encouragment talk.

Some of the bigger affiliates have noticed an increase in the $39.99 single sale. This is why. Our customers love the content and many have signed up a couple of times already. So we want the surfer to feel comfortable and come back when he feels ready and they don't need to worry if the credit card will get hit again, which increases refunds and charge backs. We have elimated that much of that from our business model.

Thank you,
College Girl cash

Interesting thoughts, good luck :)

So you think increasing the join price is the answer to poor rebilling? The math you need to make is what will be the % decrease in signup a $40 or $35 join price will provoke...

:1orglaugh Here comes the beginning of the meltdown...

Sharky 07-18-2007 12:37 PM

You do realize our industry is built off recurring billing? so you are cutting it out?

Why not rebill at the $34.95 instead of $19.95 to make up the difference?

Deej 07-18-2007 12:40 PM

hrmmm...

Good content, hope it works out...

A good mix of pricing options helps you capture a wider audience.
Having a trial isn't a bad thing if you can limit their access
Non-rebilling options are great because you can charge more for the initial.
Obviously rebills are where you make the $, but having a good mix seems to work.

Finding the best pricing structure for your site is critical and takes some tweaking.

FINALLY A SMART POST!!!!!!:thumbsup:thumbsup
And we've tried different scenerios and found this to be the best, but it can always change and probably will. There's nothing wrong with switching things up

been here for 4 years, changing and mutating each year. I remember when we were one of the 1st to pay a solo model upfront and not have a partnership in the website. I recall an outrage on that ..oh and we were 1 of the 1st to offer all solo girl sites for 1 price ( 60-70 portals for $29.99) outrage over that *** Foot note** both ideas soon caught on with other sologirl programs. Now it's very hard to sell 1 girl for $29.99

So I've never been popular is my choices or decisions, but bottom line is how much you make above the RED LINE.,as a matter of fact I'm going RAISE my price even MORE $49.99 for 60 days. My content is very strong and my following for the content is stronger

collegegirlscash 07-18-2007 02:05 PM

Ok your cries have been heard. price changes

$39.99/REBILL AT $24.99 1ST OPTION
$49.99 SIGN UP NO REBILL 2ND OPTION
$99 SIGN UP NO REBILL 3RD OPTION

tranza 07-18-2007 02:16 PM

Nigga please. Dont try to be original. Just copy the big boys.

GatorB 07-18-2007 08:52 PM

So HIGHER prices will encourage LESS pirating?

Tempest 07-18-2007 09:05 PM

And collegegirlscash continues to show what a moron he is. yeah.. Let's compare Hollywood which really has no recurring type of revenue.. with porn that does.. yeah...

tony286 07-18-2007 09:15 PM

good luck with your increase.

DBS.US 07-18-2007 09:37 PM

When Hollywood hike up ticket prices, I stopped going to the theaters and bought more pirated movies:2 cents:

Very very true.

For the last 7 years we have looked at what the affiliates need and built for them. Does this meet what the surfer needs?

We all know the dangers of putting too much hardcore content into a gallery will lead to a guy jerking off and in 15 minutes and not buying a 30 day membership. Please explain the logic of that.

Some porn consumers want 30 days worth of entertainment and a paysite is the best value option for this. At no time in selling porn has any medium been able to deliver what a good paysite can for $30.

But these people are the minority of porn consumers. Most porn consumers want 20 minutes, we do not cater for them.

The future is going to be dominated by people who cater to the consumer, not the "traffic senders".

Already PPV and VOD are eating into the paysite membership base, add to this Torrent sites and sites giving away content for free and the decline of the $30 30 day option is inevitable.

KrisKross 07-18-2007 10:53 PM

why not just build better sites that retain?

Because the cost of doing it in todays market makes it unprofitable.

Unless you go down the avenue of the micro niche market you are always going to be faced with the prospect that most members will want to see what it's like on another site. That's human nature of men and sex.

Some porn brands have tremendous loyalty, like Private and Wicked, Evil Angel. But they spend a bit more to produce a product then we do. No matter how much fun it is to see a girl banged in the back of a van or suck on some guys dick while he films it, after 20 scenes it becomes boring.

Downloading and ripping puts an extreme downwards pressure on price.
