Mike Vick of the Atlanta Falcons SHOULD go to jail !!!!

http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/law/07/17...tml#cnnSTCText

Worst part of this:

According to the indictment, dogs that didn't show enough fighting spirit, or that lost matches, were put to death by a variety of methods, including shooting, drowning, hanging and electrocution. Prosecutors allege that on one occasion earlier this year, Vick participated in killing eight dogs

totally agree:2 cents:

J. Falcon 07-18-2007 11:22 AM

This guy is a complete fucking retard. Remember Ron Mexico from a few years a go? LOL. Not to mention he is the most overrated QB (probably player) in the NFL.

tony286 07-18-2007 11:23 AM

not jail they should throw the motherfucker covered in BBQ sauce into a pit of hungry pit bulls. The sad thing is he will probably get no jail time.

Cyndalie 07-18-2007 11:23 AM

Hmm, I thought it just happened on a property he owned a family member lived on, and was unaware of the activities and hadn't participated. What a shame, if he was involved - fuckin waste.

Funbrunette 07-18-2007 11:24 AM

100% behind you JF!

I hope they put him on that "rape stand" for dogs (that he used and is being charged for) and put him with the other prisoners! More than 60 dogs were discovered at his home!!! Some of the animals appeared malnourished, scarred, and injured, and during the raid police found implements related to dogfighting.

That's all the proof I need to put that SOB away for good! Animal cruelty is a CRIME!

Animals are "thinking," "feeling," and "experiencing" beings. They have basic rights because they have the capacity to suffer. We have a duty to protect those rights.

Tom_PM 07-18-2007 11:27 AM

Absolutely he should :(

With all of the uproar over Pit Bulls lately, and this low-life proves that people murder the non-aggresive ones and increase the number of aggresive animals out there! Really rotten to the core, and I'm sure he never thought so for a second while he was doing it.

Money and fame doesn't buy brains!

swoop 07-18-2007 11:27 AM

agreed, should be out of the NFL and the NFL won't miss him much. he's not a good QB, he's a good athlete.

Pretty sure that Vick claimed it must have been family who was staying at his house like you say. That was the story. So I'd guess they have found evidence that he definitely knew and participated. :Oh crap

TubeTitans_SusieQ 07-18-2007 11:38 AM

what a jerk, i dont even want to see what it said on cnn...i agree

Brother Bilo 07-18-2007 11:39 AM

Jman 07-18-2007 12:41 PM

I wonder how long it will take Nike to drop his ass as a spokesperson.

LiveDose 07-18-2007 12:43 PM

He's a piece of garbage. They should put him naked in a cage with 10 abused pit bulls for 30 minutes.

Ravage 07-18-2007 12:43 PM

Fuck jail... just shoot and kill him.

Thumbler 07-18-2007 12:48 PM

Brother Bilo 07-18-2007 12:50 PM

RawAlex 07-18-2007 01:42 PM

I was thinking more like doused in water and electrocuted...

C-Bass 07-18-2007 02:02 PM

sad thing is, he will probably pay a couple of thousdands of dollars in fines, spend 30 days in a correctional institute and get released early based on his status.

Democracy rocks doesnt it?

Jimmy Rock 07-18-2007 02:05 PM

The last i heard in the country you where inocent until proven guilty?

Boobs 07-18-2007 02:09 PM

BAKO 07-18-2007 03:08 PM

RFremont 07-18-2007 03:20 PM

If in fact the allegations are true, there is no bigger piece of shit than someone that abuses animals.

kane 07-18-2007 03:47 PM

Just read and article and watched a story on this. He is fucked! One of the charges he is facing is "conspiracy." Which, if proved, means that everyone indicted can be held responsible for everyone else's conduct. Meaning that even if he didn't personally kill a dog the charge would prove he knew it was happening and so he is just as guilty as the people that did it.

Since this is a federal case they have tons of money and resources so any high priced lawyers he may get won't be going against some local DA, they will be going against the best the DOJ has to offer. His money won't help him hear. Look at Scooter Libby or Jeffery Skilling. They both have tons of money and hired the best legal defense you can get and both were found guilty and sentenced to jail (libby's sentence, of course, was removed by the president so he won't serve time)

The story also said that there are 4 others that were indicted at the same time and they have several people ready to testify that he was a big part of this whole thing. Chances are some, if not all, of the others that were indicted will co-operate with the police because obviously Vick is the target they want. If that happens, the legal expert in the story said, Vick's best bet is to cop a plea and hope for the best because he will have almost no chance of getting off.

WEGCash Robert 07-18-2007 03:55 PM

I agree also. I think that is horrible.

Profits of Doom 07-18-2007 03:57 PM

The conspiracy charge is only the first charge that has been filed. I have a feeling more are coming. I've been following this case for a while, and originally the Surrey County investigators were botching the investigation and looked like they were trying to sweep it under the rug. Then the Fed's got involved and found dog carcasses buried all over the property.

As far as innocent until proven guilty, the piece of shit Vick tried claiming he was never at that property, but neighbors testified that he was there all the time. All of the people that lived on the property were unemployed, so who do you think was financing the whole operation? I think Michael Vick is a sorry sack of shit and I hope the Fed's crucify him...

starpimps 07-18-2007 04:02 PM

someone shoot this ignorant ass mother fucker...why isnt the nfl not making a stand against him already?

Azure Paulie 07-18-2007 04:30 PM

I also totally agree.

The last I heard in the country is that having near 100 dead dogs buried in your backyard and dogs blood all over your house doesn't scream innocent.

cosis 07-18-2007 05:06 PM

What a fucking idiot - I am sure a few unhappy linebackers with animals will break his body in half

DJ Duncan 07-18-2007 05:16 PM

If he was involved, lets hope he gets thrown in jail, for long f'n time.
