I am thinking of buying this <PICS> - Big Pictures

My friend spent 6 months building this bike from ground up-

Paul Yaffe frame but then the rest is custom.

He offered it to me at a hell of a deal last night - what do you think?

Dirty F 07-17-2007 04:18 PM

That looks pretty damn cool.

Im not into bikes but one of the nicer ones i saw (as in my style, not really that awesome looking even) was one in Phoenix.

That was the first time i was like wow, i want to have that bike.

That bike is pretty bad ass -

the thing i like is that bike i posted was built by a very close friend of mine - the one you are sitting on came off an assembly line :)

Mr Pheer 07-17-2007 04:23 PM

Its cool to look at but I hope you dont plan on riding it very far.

BradM 07-17-2007 04:25 PM

I'm not a bike person, but I'd get a rise out of that thing - so it must be nice.

SCOOTER 07-17-2007 04:29 PM

How many miles did you put on your old bike, Kourosh? You think it would gather dust? If not, buy the damn thing. Thats a bad ass bike!

I think i shall think about thinking of letting you ride the new bike!

Minte 07-17-2007 04:46 PM

With a hardtail and a springer you aren't going to want to drink anything before you ride it. I had a 1942 H-D in that configuration and it was HELL on the kidneys. That being said, they sure do look good.

I dont recall it 100% but i think it was a custom one man.

Not completely sure though.

Dirty F 07-17-2007 04:47 PM

Also i doubt they would bring factory bikes to a biker show?

Jman 07-17-2007 04:50 PM

You should ;-)

Each quart of paint used was $450 - that's right ONE quart was $450

:helpme

Brother Bilo 07-17-2007 06:15 PM

Damn, I need to get a bike. I've only rode my roomates 1 time and I laid it down. I had to sell off a couple guns to pay for the damages and haven't gotten on a bike since. I guess it's time to pick it up again.

baddog 07-17-2007 06:29 PM

you can make it from your place to Warren's before your back starts bothering you

halfpint 07-17-2007 08:32 PM

Very nice, love the springer forks but not the hardtail, prefer softails, whats the rake on that..?? I would softail it change the seat and stick great big ape hangers on it with some good old fishtail exhausts, K&N filters, I take it, it has a harley lump in it, which is suprising as its chain driven and not belt, are those straight through exhausts...bet it sounds wicked..will be a beauty when its fixed up ..very nice..forgot the spoke wheels..I love em..makes a bike look soo sexy

I'd be willing to bet you could not find a Harley part on it if you tried . . . hard to say from those pics, just a gut hunch.

[ Nate ] 07-17-2007 10:53 PM

No idea what the rake is - absolutely NO harley parts :)

you would put ape hangers on it? This is a RIGID :upsidedow

the seat is a CUSTOM Jack Daniels seat - i will get a better picture and show you how bad ass it is. This bike is not for long hauls as you can tell, it is for show mainly :warning
