SICK OF GOVERNMENT? Watch Ron Paul's Interview at Google HQ

I won't offer my full opinion.. but I will say that his stance on government is amazingly refreshing. It's almost like he believes we should be a free country?

Ron Paul Interviewed by Google

?I want to be President not because I want to run your lives, I don?t wanna be President to run your economy, and I don?t wanna be President to run the world. I wanna be President to restore liberty.? ? Ron Paul

mostly because mainstream media won't do any coverage on him. but he is becoming surprisingly popular throughout the internet. check him out what he has to say is very refreshing to hear from a politician.

I have a couple of issues with the guy but holy fuck... he's like an angel compared to most of the slime today.

Man... no way in hell can you judge any individual who is on an electoral bandwagon - that's pure myth :winkwink:

Any asshole will tell anyone what they want to hear - they will blame everyone else, tell you how it should be and ooze a clean slate. If they don't? They are not funded to provide the "best democracy money can buy".

Did you ever remember beliefs of having "small government" and a range of other promises by candidates in the past??? It's the same in any country - not just the US - they all lie and portray images/verbal to suit the occasion.

BTW.. Don't mean to reflect on Ron Paul as an individual - that can be a totally different image. He may well be an honorable man and well-qualified to be President, but that is another man - not lump of human waste painting a picture along a campaign trail.

I Have Not Seen It Why?

Doug E 07-17-2007 01:08 AM

I watched it today. Watch his next contributions report spike after his google visit. He'll become a player in this election. In a way he already is.

Then I watched Bill Richardson at google, never knew much about him before, gotta say I like the guy and his big Apollo ideas style.

Now I'm checking out Edwards. Not a lot of work done today.

So far Ron Paul would still have my vote. In my opinion he'd do the US more good than any president in history and in turn, indirectly, the world.

Same.. I'm not a fan of him wanting to get rid of the post office and stuff like that. He's aginst govt control on just about anything, which is good and bad, meaning some thing the govt should do.

That and he's stance on abortion. However other than those two he's the best choice out there.

He is the number 3 in fund raising at this point for Republicans. He just beat out Howard Dean last week.

The media defiantly isn't giving him his far share of exposure.. Hell even on youtube.com presidential page he's the only guy on the "2nd page".

yup.. hes on the list of the most searched terms for google and yahoo. wins debate after debate agains't all the other candidates. hes even becoming so popular on the internet he IS the most mentioned single person in blogs according to tech-norati and has been for a few months. definitely gaining popularity.

Humpy Leftnut 07-17-2007 02:13 AM

I think word of mouth best spreads his name and message of small government. Tell someone, k?

ServerGenius 07-17-2007 02:20 AM

Who knows - he may be a good candidate for a US President, but let's leave it at that. The world has had enough of US Presidents - at least till they have some cred :thumbsup

The guy is honest, which is so refreshing in politics. The guy speaks his mind and isn't afraid to say anything. Even on controversial stuff he tells it exactly like it is (to him at least) and that's why I like him. You ask him a question, and he answers you - not with shit, not with rhetoric, but with a real answer.

He doesn't go on for an hour about a "lockbox" without clarification of what it is.

He doesn't scream "HE FORGOT POLAND" in a debate.

This guy is honest. He doesn't give you the answers you want to hear, he gives you the answers that he honestly believes in. And that.. more than anything else.. is what separates him from the rest of the scum up there.

The only other candidate that I?m interested in other than Ron Paul is Bill Richardson. Either of those two men would do wonders for this country.

Wizzo 07-17-2007 12:26 PM

But the sad fact is a Hobbit will never be president no matter how good his ideas are... :pimp
