How many different affiliate programs do you promote?

I just decided I'm not revealing that information :D

I currently push 3 sponsors only.

But I have pushed 20+ in the past, so I still get sales/send traffic to 20+ sponsors.

I prmote only a few, even though I try a lot.

I'm always trying to choose the ones that work best for me

I get 80% of my money from the top 10 but why leave that 20% sitting on the table?

The others are usually programs I find that nobody else seems to know about. Makes it so I can write a blog post about it today and get 2 sales from it tomorrow... Also helps me to feel like I ain't spinning my wheels when I make posts.

when I first got into the business, I accidentally - total fluke - had #1 spot for Paris Hilton Sex Tape when it first hit the net. I *made* 18 large in a month.

To this day, the check is still in the mail. I'll never put all my eggs in one basket again, sponsors go belly up, stats get lost, whatever. I spread my traffic out.

Ah.. another check in the mail :winkwink: The postal service must be drowning in a backlog....

On sponsors - deal with as few as possible and they are mainly people who have been in the biz for some time. Unless there is a specific purpose to having many sponsors - it's pointless. To promote a sponsor fully, it takes some effort and work and that investment in time has to have a chance of a payback.

i'm in the 21-50 range. as long as my sponsors keep putting out new sites there's no need to go joining more right now.

according to stats remote ive sent 84 sponsors sales so far this year.

19 right now

but its not active pomoting at all

70 or 80...

A few hundred sites on CCBILL...

All the AEN sites...

Only a couple of LARGE sponsors.

I have too many checks that are garbage because someone closed, went bankrupt and on and on. Those days are over for me.

I've got 128 in my Statsremote right now. I always try new stuff out... Look how many reps will reply in a "spam me with..." thread nowadays.

at least 25% of them I have never made a sale with, and another 25% I have never receied a check. But then every couple of weeks I make another sale with one of those ones, and the only reason I even know is because Statsremote is checking for me.
