I know there's a tool, which downloads thumbs and pics from server 2 server directly (not in hard drive)

Anybody has this tool???

Are you talking about rsync?

If so, RTFM: man rsync

or SOD and RATM?

I use midnight commander on my linux boxes and ftp back and forth

if I need to move files alot i'll mount a remote drive via NFS
