Did google change things? How do you tell if you're banned?
 

You used to be able to do a search and if there was a link to the site you weren't banned, but if there wasn't you were banned. That doesn't seem to happen anymore. Can anyone clarify what's happened?

since my listings got taken down...i know about 3 other webmasters who lost all their google traffic...no idea what the fucks going on :(

"found" the command again..

do a google search for "info:www.yourdomain.com"

It used to be that if it's not in the index but not banned, there will be a link to the domain.. if it was banned there won't be a link... What are your results?

maybe you have a "hand ban"
do a search for site:yourdomain.com
if your site only shows 2 results , you got a hand ban
if it shows zero results , reg ban

haven't seen any bans that still show more than 2 results.

No line that starts like this "If the URL is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link: ".. and then a link to the site?

Yeah.. that would be a ban.

i.e. if you do the info: thing with non existent domains you'll see the message I was talking about.
