Fuck the Hard Rock Hotel
 

The Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas has now charged me for me room 4 times.

4 FUCKING TIMES AT 284 EACH TIME plus the 300 incidental deposit.

Never again will I stay at this hotel or spend a dime on any of their services, not only have they fucked my bank acct with these extra charges, they checked me into a nasty ass room that had spit and phlegm hanging from the sealing, in the tub and sink as well.

If you were at the hotel for the show, check your charges closely.

I just got off the phone with the hotel manager on duty and was informed that the Hard Rock is not in the habit of overcharging its patrons and most likely all charges are legit, however he will look into it.

Guess I'll be at my bank 1st thing in the AM to handle the situation myself.

You should have told them that you're not in the habit of paying for your room 4 times and and most assuredly the charges are not legit. However you will look into it with your bank and his boss.

Oh and always check your bills at hotels just like hospitals it's built into the system to fuck you. They make millions every year in small false charges that people usually just overlook.

I always have trouble at hotels. Had similar problem with the hard rock last year. At the westin in Miami last year they tried to charge me for parking for 4 or 5 days in a row when I didnt drive. Took 4 calls to the front desk to get it removed. :disgust

I agree the Hardrock hotel is pretty ghetto... I wasn't too happy with it at all. I hate hotels with no shower gel and shitty water pressure! oh well

they charged me a $40 dock fee per box of magazines, it cost me under 30 per box to ship from Fla:mad:

When we checked in, our room wasn't ready - they were "waiting for inspection" to be complete.

Gave them my cell to tell me when it'd be ready. 5 mins later they call and say it's ready. We go down... "uhm, your room is not ready yet" .. WTF?

Finally we get our room... chair is missing from the desk area... the tub fills up during your shower and takes all day to drain.. barely any hot water one morning in the shower.. They didn't clean it one day at all even though we bitched.

Bleh.... not a good impression of the Hard Rock for me either.

The show was good times.. the hotel.. different story.

Damn, I never knew the hardrock was like this... Now I know where not to stay when I go to vegas.

They tried to charge me $60 extra for pool view....later I found that they were charging walk in's $79.00 room rates..... they gladly refunded the $60 per night - but not cool

Yep, they tried to fuck me too. I will NEVER attend or do anything at that hotel again EVER!

hmmm, no complaints here. Was able to check in at 11:30 (as soon as I arrived) and the room was gigantic.

Well, the drain stopper for the bathroom sink was a little off, but everything else was great.

Of course, I did not have to pay for the room, so I guess XBIZ might want to look at their bill.

Hmm, I had to cancel my room and even though the policy was 72 hours prior notice (to avoid deposit not being returned), they gave me mine back the day before.

Oh and they were absolutely fine when I went to the show last year.

Yelled at him and room was comp'ed.

A good yell is worthwhile while you are still there and BEFORE you check out at any hotel - forget it once you have left.

The Westin was always good at it's phone charges. Do NOT use the in room phone at the Westin.

That happened to us too! Luckily our fraud protection caught it WHILE we were registering so we could yell at them a little. I have to say I was NOT impressed with the HRH. :mad:

Our room wasn't too bad. I really liked the way the showerhead just poured like a waterfall at the base and ran down the bathroom wall. :upsidedow

My bank handles such problems by phone 24/7.

I tried calling to Denmark from a Hotel in LA.
$17.50 for a call that wasn't even answered :(

damn that really sucks :( happened to me in toronto at WME...got charged twice

We were supposed to get a room w/ 2 queens. (2 dudes sharing a room) and they gave us a room with one king. We're were like, "uh, no." Went down and complained and the girl said that was all that was available and the kind of room you reserve isn't guaranteed. So I slept on a cot. Aside from that I really like the Hard Rock. Much less overwhelming in size than a typical Vegas casino. The pool is ridonkulous and they have good music playing all the time.

Our room was fine. Pool view and nice and clean. It was all comp'd by the Hardrock and we had full time access to their limo service. I'm guessing they may have taken a bit more time on the room because we booked through the VIP guy that took care of us last year. I guess it helps when your gamble a bit. I hope it works out for ya and I'll be checking my Card for the Mini Bar charges ..

We will NEVER stay at that hotel again!

1. The light in our bathroom was almost nonexistent. I practically did my make-up in the dark.

2. The bed and pillows were horrible. My neck is fucked for at least a week.

3. A hotel security guard asked my friend (who is a local) for I.D. when she exited the elevators on Friday night. We were all up hanging out in Nader's room. On the way down Norm and I got off on our floor and my girlfriend went down by herself to leave. The security guard near the elevators, who was about three times her size, asked her for her I.D. She wasn't gambling or drinking, and she was dead sober. She is 28, and was dressed nicely. After he looked at her I.D. he told her she wasn't welcome there and to leave the hotel. He told her that he had to walk her to her car. He wouldn't tell her why. She called us crying and we immediately came down. The security guard refused to get us a manager. Finally we found one ourselves, who called another one. We talked to about six different staff members. They were all unable to tell us why she was questioned, embarrased or asked to leave. They barely even apologized. Fucking ridiculous. My friend comes to visit me as a guest, and a member of their security makes her cry.

4. Then, there is the cluster fuck to get into the pool. They send you from one end of the hotel to another to wait in line after line to wear a bracelet to go to the fucking pool? Whatever.

5. The entire hotel smells like ashtray and puke. At least other Vegas hotels try to be clean. They don't even seem to give a fuck at the Hard Rock.

6. The music at Body English sucks.

7. I went to the front desk to ask for a comment card, and they ran out. It figures.

The pool is fun, even though I probably have hepatitis from going in the water. Pink Taco has good food. Besides that, to hell with the whole place.

Sorry Jackie, while I agree with you on some stuff, others I don't at all.

1. Bathroom lights were pretty non-existent. I thought it was funny and was glad I did not have to apply makeup.

2. goodgirl is pretty picky about beds and she always raves about the Hard Rock's. I thought they were pretty comfy.

3. Knowing Vegas, they probably thought she was a hooker. I have had friends arrested just for being friendly at a bar.

4. Cluster fuck to get to the pool? There is a main entrance, and the one by the registration. Never saw a line at either, and wrist bands keep the riff raff out.

5. Blame smokers. I did not think it was any worse than any other establishment that allows those types in.

6. How can you tell the difference . . . all those places sound the same to me.

7. You have been gone too long if you think the Pink Taco is good food.

Hmmm, that sucks...i usually have them comp all our rooms since we play there....and it doesnt take much cause they are desperate for players a lot more than some of the other bigger hotels....

I have to agree with my wife! I couldn't believe how the staff at the hotel treats it guests. The show itself was top notch. Very well organized. Hats off! After it was over is when most of the problems started. No one woman should be treated that way. EVER!! I will never stay or visit that hotel outside an industry event again. Anyway have a good night and sweet dreams to all!

I am not sure if the security guard thought she was a hooker, or just wanted to walk her out and hit on her or what. He was very strange though and kept asking about a bandage on her arm. She hurt hurself tubing behing a boat. She wasn't doing anything wrong though, and was much nicer looking than a lot of the females there. And what does an injury on her arm have to do with her not being welcome at a hotel? And with all the scumminess going on in Vegas, why single out one girl? She was at the hotel with us everyday, and I just don't get why this one guy treated her like that. It just seems strange that a Vegas casino, especially a mediocre one would pull something like that.

The pool was cool during the show. It wasn't until Saturday and Sunday that it became challenging to get into. The rules on Saturday and Sunday were different too, and you got your bracelet from different places each day.

I wish there wasn't smoking in Vegas, but if we took a vote, I am pretty sure I would lose.

Kourash' rocked as a DJ. The music at the pool was always better than at Body English.

The chicken enchiladas at Pink Taco were great, granted I was starving and pretty drunk, but hey, I liked something. Stop raining on my parade;-)

The hotel was okay when the show was going on, but it seemed to go downhill throughout the weekend. Anyways, we won't be staying there anymore. Goodnight all.

oh, after the show . . I don't normally do Vegas hotels since I have a condo 1 block off the strip. If it wasn't free, I would not have stayed there.

I tried the Pink Taco my first day there and immediately wished I had just taken a nap instead. :1orglaugh

Sorry to head Dan... I guess that's why you should always use an AMEX or some other type of credit card. It won't wipe out your account and their fraud protection is top notch.

OK, just got back from the bank the monies charged over what the actual charges should have been are being credited back to my acct within 24 hours.

I will take this as a lesson learned on my part as well, I only have 1 credit card with enough of a limit to pay my monthly hosting and a few other various charges, other then that I use my visa/atm/check card which is linked directly to my acct.

I dont really like to charge things, but looks like I will be getting another credit card to use for travel only so that if this ever happens again It will not affect my cash flow from my acct.

I am still of the opinion of Fuck the Hard Rock and I will never stay there again.

I should have stated this earlier, my anger and frustration have nothing to do with xbiz or the show, I had a awesome time and the crew at xbiz put on a tremendous show and had everything covered.
