Writers block
 

I gotta write the text for my site, and I have no idea what to say ... complete writers block with some major anxiety going on here.

Simple trick.

Write single words. Describe what you see one single word at a time. After you have run out of single words, start doing two words. By the time you have done about 50 of these, you will know what to say.

Do something else. Get away from it for a while and you'll be surprised what you come up with. When I have writers block, I go watch TV, see a movie, read a book, do the laundry, etc. Then magically as I do other stuff, I tend to think of great text for whatever project I'm working on.

Have someone else write it for you :)

My Wife is an excellent copywriter for sites, articles, and such. She is open to take on new work, if ever are looking for some very nice text. Also, there are a few other copywriters that post on here as well. It's well worth paying someone to at least re-write what you have, if not totally write something new.

I am not looking for someone to write it since it will kill the whole thing of the site being about me and showing my personality. it's just something I have to over come the anxiety and push threw it. if I wanted to be a cookie cutter thing then I wouldn't being trying to get a website that is about me.

You still might want a friend to look it over. There's nothing cookie cutter about correct grammar and spelling. It makes your text easier to read. It's not worth paying someone for that, but you might want to find someone to check it over for you...

someone is going to look it over but it still does not help the fact that I can't get the words out.
