It took me 3 1/2 hours to get to Vegas on Tuesday. It took me 9 1/2 to get home. It wasn't until the third mishap that it was pointed out to me that it was Friday the 13th.

Yikes.....it only took me four to get home to SFV. I have actually had good luck on Friday the 13th *knock on wood* I hope things get better for you....but cheer up the day is almost over.Comment

Friday the 13th was usually good to me, it was Saturday the 14th I had to worry about.
Took a detour through Death Valley, that was fine, but whern I hit 15 again, got stopped for 3+ hours due to some idiot rolling his car and deciding he was too injured to walk it off, so had to wait for a damn helicopter.
Get rolling for a half hour until we hit the Cajon Pass which decided to catch on fire while we were there, then I got a flat tire and discovered that when they gave me th ecustom rims, they did not give me anything to take the damn lug nuts off with . . . so another 3+ hour delay waiting for a truck with a deep socket.

Me and a few friends put on ski masks right when it got dark out. We went and sat outside the local walmart kind of on the side of store so we could see who was coming in and out. This mom was walking in with her like 7-10 year old sun and 3 of us in skimasks ran up and grabbed her kid and just kept running. You should have saw her, she was histarical.

My flight was for Saturday moring, but it seemed most people left Vegas Friday afternoon so I decided to leave also. I called Southwest and bumped my flight up to Friday night. I've never missed a flight because I tend to be really early for check in, and today was no exception. I hunkered down in the airport with a good book.
My flight was slightly delayed but we landed more or less on time.
It's good to be home. Now I know why I left Phoenix - I loved the peeps there and miss them all, but I can't do that desert hot shit.Herschel Savage
