Hey, how does The Hun's traffic convert for everyone? I just got posted for the first time. 105,000 hits to my gallery and only one sale.

that many hits and no sales for mine back in october or so. i'm sure i was doing something wrong though.

So far i got 6 galleries listed on the hun...each got 60-90k

i wouldn't say it's too bad...but i heard ppl were getting 30+ signups...

To expand a little more, I sent about 3000 clicks to ARS from this hun posting, and got the 1 sale. I usually convert at more like 1:600...so it's not my gallery's fault. Oh well.

Damn.. ARS improved: are they doing 1:3000 now?

The hun's traffic is the absolute best shit on earth, half the time I don't even bother submitting to other tgps....

Shrugs... find a new niche? Or better yet, find a new sponsor...

Try something different, that they havent already seen or another take on a certain niche... Then again, good luck getting listed with him again this year. :P

The 30+ stories are true... And unless you have a real good template, a real good converting site, and a couple grand to pump out for paid spots there, dont imagine them to happen to you. =)

We had a webmaster get listed yesterday for collegefuckfest and he's done 200 sales.

Don't tell me the Hun doesn't convert.

If you average 1:600 that means you can easily go 5,000 hits without a sale and then pick up 2 sales in 50 clicks. Anything less than 20,000 hits is too small a sampling to have any statistical meaning.

You also might want to consider how many times a typical tgp surfer has already looked at the tour you are sending them to...

I created a page that got accepted - with no sponsor links at all.

I used this to feed traffic to my trades on my TGP.

It worked like a charm.

I had some good listings on a couple big name TGP's this weekend including holiday monday and got 0 sales....wheeee.good thing I didnt pay for the listings or I would have been majorly pissed

okay, here's a question for people ... is a #1 listing on the hun worth the bucks? I mean .. if I could get a number 25 listing and make $200 or $250 off it (which is great!) ... do I get enough more conversions at the top of his site to make it worth it?

#1 is worth it if you're promoting the right site. and maybe have someone hosting your gallery for you. Talk to me.

I find the hun converts every time! My best gallery did 21 signups in 2 days. But that was the only time over 15. hehe

Definitely send something different though. Not usual niche and sponsor to get the most of a listing. And better chance of a listing too.

200 signups in 2 days isnt impossible. evil, show me the gallery please. My best listing on thehun did 118 signups in 1 entire day.

Do the math. Figure out how much traffic you get from a listing depending where on the list you are.
Consider the fact that this unique site is doing anywhere from 1:80 to 1:250 across the board, and bingo.

The highest Ive ever been listed for free on the Hun was #15, in return I received about 60k of clicks to my sponsor over a 3 day period.

On average though I usually get about 6-10 signups per listing.

I have said in the past that these numbers are unrealistic for the majority of the webmasters, but there are few that still can hit them. Of course this doesnt mean they get such amounts of signups every day. My best ratio based on volume was near christmas when i got 20trials from a simple listing on tommys-bookmarks which brought less than 20k traffic in my gallery. It was the 1st gallery posted promoting jill kelly's official site. Same had happen few months earlier with briana banks site, again tommys-bookmarks alone brought 15 sales with very few traffic. Having in mind that hun can send 20 times more traffic do the calculations.

So is it worth it to buy one of the Hun's banner spots through Cybercat? I heard it was so I bought one. This is what I'm linking to: http://www.only-teenagers.com

Is it too much free content to get a sale? I'm rethinking it and I believe it is. Any good suggestions?

the banners do worse than the galleries.. youre better off submitting a trillion galleries and raping the traffic from there. hardly anyone clicks through on the banners. ive seen people complain a shitload about it, even at over 1 billion impressions you wont make as much as he charged ya.

He is listing a lot of galleries on his hun.net/overflow. I made a few sales but he sent no more then 10k a day.

Okay I'll do the math. Suppose you had a consistent 1:200 (no such thing as 1:80 to 1:250.. end of the day you can just look at the conv ratio) You need 40,000 clickthrus. You get 80k hits to your free listed gallery. So you did 1:2 clickthru? To a site without any new concept? Site without a trial? Now, does that sound right to you? Not to me and I have been buying slots almost since TGPs started selling slots and that would be quite a few years :)

Well, not to mention that I got 80,000 sign-ups in 1 whole day to my own paysite ie. every surfer that visited my page that day subscribed to my shit.. don't believe me? Don't make me open up photoshop now to get you a screenshot damn it! :Graucho
