You are missing the option I would vote one which is, "I'm unsure if humans are causing the earth to warm faster or hotter than it would on its own, but I want to err on the side of caution and do thinks to cut down on our impact because, frankly, if we say it's not us and we are wrong, the downside can be pretty big."

You also forgot the, "I don't give a shit because I'll be dead when it all goes down" option.

Sorry to short-quote you here, but this one nits a nerve with me. I use a TON of paper, and my neighbor made a comment about how many trees I killed after seeing my trash out front.

I told the dumb bitch the truth. Lumber is replanted every year for a reason. Some people are just idiots.

Not only that but old trees burn easier. So thinning them out helps reduce fires. Though actually forest fires are part of the natural cycle thats gone on for thousands of years. Its a good thing.

You didn't provide the "Yes, I think it exists, but humans are not the cause of it" option.

I feel confident in my hypothesis that anyone that doesn't think Global warming exists and is vocal about that belief is a knucklehead that has never read on the subject... and is probably more about causing a stir than intelligent discussion.

On the other hand, whether or not man's the cause of it is debatable - but, personally, I think all this stuff we're dumping in the atmosphere has to have some sort of effect.
