Shit, I've got my radio on but can't hear jack shit. I've been answering the phone all morning, have no idea who in the fuck is calling because I just plain can't fucking hear.

All I have to say is... yesterday was fucking great! Haven't been to a show in over a year, when I heard Ozzfest was coming to town I picked up tickets right away. Paid $75 each, eh, more than the lowest price but I figured they would be pretty good seats.

Were they ever! I sat RIGHT behind the pit, first row, could see every crazy expression on Ozzy's face. Could see Zach Wylde's fingers moving on that board like mad. And every middle finger was clearly visible.

I must admit, this show didn't have a roster quite like Ozzfest '99, but the show was killer nonetheless. The side stage was rocking hard with Down, Meshugah (sp?), Hatebreed, Mushroomhead, Lil Nino, and a handful of other great bands (plus a few shitty groups). Hatebreed was great, they really got the crowd moving.

Main stage, just fucking great. Opened up with a band called Otep. After looking closely, I realized the singer was a chick, sure couldn't tell from her singing. I picked up a free demo CD to listen to later when I get my hearing back.

Black Label Society, fucking awesome. Need to pick up this CD. Wylde really impressed me. Adema and P.O.D. I won't even talk about, they shouldn't have been there. When Tommy Lee wasn't playing old Motley Crue gigs, he sucked ass.

Fucking Rob Zombie, need I say more? I've seen him three times now, each time just as good as the previous. System of a Down played a pretty good show, wasn't overly impressed, but I was enjoying it plenty.

Ozzy! Played plenty of the good old Black Sabbath rips, woohoo! Paranoid, Ironman, and War Pigs... fucking great, probably my 3 favorite songs played, plus Crazy Train. Wylde had a nice 5-10 minute solo session about half way through, was ripping up everything.

All in all, I had a fucking great Labor Day. How about you?
