They had a contest to redesign it.

Prize was 7500.

That doesnt look the winning design though... I could be wrong, I dont remember the contest very well.

Why the God Damn mother Fucking Hell were we not told that its not a TCG site any fucking more? Im so fucking pissed.

NetMgt/CEN has known for over a month that they were going to be losing control of PrivateGold.com and elected not to get the word out in every way possible. I did see one newsletter from them telling webmasters to change linking code from PrivateGold.com to XXXGold.com, their replacement site, but that was all I saw on the matter. If you have a Traffic Cash Gold account login and look at the "linking code" section - it still shows the linking code for PrivateGold.com even thought they KNOW it is no longer part of their program.

I must have 100's of links pointing to PrivateGold - with no idea where they all are (there's a day or 2 gone).
I can't see that it's very enticing to sign up with a new program if it's only offering one site (with a rather 'average' tour page) - that'll take ages until I have earned enough to make it worthwhile to have a check written and then pay overseas banking charges on it :(

Mikeee - Trust me, CEN/Netmgt has know for over a month that they were losing the domain. Why they chose to not spread the word is unknown to me. Why they did not remove the link code from the affiliate area of Traffic Cash Gold is unknown to me. They knew and they did not act on the knowledge other than adding a small notice to one of their affiliate newsletters a couple weeks ago. Ask them. The situation is in more ways than one a result of their actions or rather inaction.

Fletch - bibabi's design IS the winning design and will be the main tour on PrivateGold.com once the DNS has fully switched. If you are not seeing it yet you are probably seeing the page that Private Media Group (the company that actually owns the domain) had in place after they took the domain away from CEN/Netmgt.
They have updated the DNS but for some reason it is having a problem. As you can see here http://www.directnic.com/whois/index...rivategold.com the DNS should be pointing at our server hosted at LikeWhoa but is not. The problem is being fixed but unfortunately DNS is not an exact science. Hopefully by morning the problem will be solves and the correct site will be viewable.

Need to clarify one thing about the design of PrivateGold.com
For the first week the front end of PrivateGold will be the old design. We are doing this to let the surfers know that PrivateGold.com is once again PrivateGold.com and not XXXGold.com
Confused? Ask CEN/Netmgt to clarify for you.
After one week Traci's (bibabi) design will replace the old design as the frontend tour. Her design will also be available to advertise within the first week as an alternate tour along with the other 5 contest winning designs.
