Thanks, I love to cook and I love good and fresh food.....My wife is a good cook
too and is very strict with cooking healthy and fresh meals.....most of the time
eating at home is nicer than eating at a restaurant......except you have to
clean up the mess afterwards....

when I'm done in the kitchen the kitchen looks like the aftermath of a failed
experiment......every utility we have is used as well as all knifes and shit...
I can't clean in between cooking so I keep taking new clean tools :1orglaugh

Ok perhaps I could but because of this my wife often tells me......you keep
working honey I'll cook you a dinner :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

you didn't eat Italian...you just ate a typical American mess.......

I didn't coz first of all I'm not american, second I'm not living even close to the US.
Third my wife is Italian and knows how to propper cook Italian....she'd
be killed by her parent if she couldn't.....

Please tell me what makes you think what I described is NOT italian? The
Amount of ingredients? Wrong....Italians do cook basic and often with just
a few ingredients.....but their sauces are made of many ingredients but in
small proportions so you won't notice or see all of them on your plate.

Regardless of that whatever you think of it won't change anything for me
while eating it.......I like it a lot so for all I care you could label it as dog food
I enjoyed it........I hope whatever you had today you enjoyed as much as I did
but I couldn't help smelling a little envy in your attempt to bash my lunch.

That's cool though.....perhaps in your position I'd react the same way too :thumbsup

ServerGenius 07-13-2007 11:50 AM

Oh b.t.w. not sure if I mentioned I live in a town that's famous for it's huge international market....
it's the biggest international food/specialty market in Europe that's open to the public.....it's
paradise to buy the authentic ingredients and products of many different countries......
Italian, Spanish, Greek,Turkish, Moroccan, African, Latin and Asian foods are very well presented and
available.....not only for food but for many other local specialty products and brands.....like detergents,
fruit, vegatables, spices and herbs, tooth paste, candy and pastry, drinks and booze, magazines, papers,
music, clothing and even movies.....

It's called the Bazaar in Beverwijk check out yourself by clicking the following link

Dude you're a foodie, great. Your lunch sounds amazing, nobody is attacking your lunch, lol. Yes, it sounds very gourmet, do you want a cookie? Or wait a scone or maybe a creme brulee? lol.

Brother Bilo 07-13-2007 01:54 PM

Salad and coffee today. But I'll make up for it with stir fry tonight. Nummers.

Kevin Cunningham 07-13-2007 01:56 PM

Just busting your balls btw ServerGenius, your lunch sounded great.

dammit how dare you bully fellow gfy warrior when he's stoned......I thought
there were unwritten laws against doing that.....:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Oh and haaaaahaaah right back at you......creme brulee is french a cookie
is to be served with coffee I have no idea what a cone means.....I'm guessing
some ice-cream cornetto type of thing.......what you were looking for is called
Tiramisu...... lol

and I wouldn't dare to call my lunch gourmet or anything exceptional as it's
a very simple and basic dish.......no taste sensations or surprises...at all
subtle basic flavours that just go well together and easy enough for any idiot
to prepare......total cost of ingredients less than $8 which makes it value for
that money that's very hard to beat hahahahaha.......

You now made me wonder if perhaps I need psychological assistance for
taking my lunch so serious lol.........I have to stop smoking weed while I'm
near a computer......Every single I get stoned while posting here I get better
of making me look even more retarded than I normally am....and in each time
I achieve this is less time than the time before........

Thank god I don't need my reputation on this board to make money else I'd
be fucked BIG time :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

LOL all good man I'm just fucking around. So what's for dinner? :1orglaugh

ServerGenius 07-13-2007 02:31 PM

Now that I think about it.....every once in a while I get a new client from GFY
who I'm sure hires me out of compasion coz he feels sorry for me :winkwink:

GFY will bash anyone at any chance it gets but at the same time if a GFY
warrior really hits bottom rock.....the people bashing you often pitch in
to pull you back on your feet.......

It always make me smile when I see that.........not that I have ever been
in such a spot ever myself.....but it gives hope to know that if I ever fuck
up myself that bad that there's always a few people that will break my fall.

So with that knowledge I feel completely safe trying to see how far I can go
before I really fall :thumbsup

I know you are.....I'm perfectly comfortable with people laughing at me or
trying to make me ridiculous....whether just for fun or because they envy
me for being able to live and pay my bills with a big smile while being as
silly as I am.......

There isn't any job in the world I could make the same money and acting
as stupid as I want, having as much fun as I have in any other industry
or profession.......

That makes is pretty fucking hard making me feel bad or offended just by
laughing at me on an adult webmaster message board or even in person
while meeting you people on some show......:thumbsup

ServerGenius 07-13-2007 02:43 PM

the only bad thing about this is that I can't stop myself
replying to every post with utter nonsense and worst of all
in HUGE amounts of text...........so I can't do it too often
coz for the rest of this night I'll be posting half novels that
don't make any sense to anyone but me..........tomorrow
I'll read it back and think........ok....perhaps I should quite
smoking weed again for a while :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Works every time for at least a few weeks...which is more than enough
to not affect my work and income :thumbsup
