What blog post layout works best for you these days?
 

I tend to use one big picture - sort of like an over-size thumb - and then write about the picture and then a text link. So far it has worked well, so I haven't experimented that much since I landed on that layout. I see a lot of people changing up their posts now with different numbers and sizes of thumbs.

What sort of blog layout do you use the most?

Depends on the blog, but I usually have a large image up top.

Then depending on the length of the post, have large images through out the post too.

By large I mean 350 to 500px wide...

I ususally use a large image, several lines of text and the text links underneath.

I have banners under the text links on some too.

Yeah, that is more or less what I do. I have experimented with the different sizes of the big picture a bit though.

Amazing how fast biz threads tank.

A big pic and I put text above, below, and sometimes above and below. I usually link the pic to a FHG or to a gallery I have built.

Usually the 1 big pictures followed by a paragraph or two of text
