The list is very impressive and Coppola is obviously in a class of his own. While Apocalypse Now and The Godfather I are my two favorites, I recently watched Bram Stokers Dracula more carefully (I had seen it when it came out but I was just a kid) and I must say that movie kicks ass!

KILL_FRENZY 07-13-2007 05:48 AM

The Godfather it's my favorite too

Too many excellent movies here to pick just one, for real. The three I liked the most are The Godfather, The Outsiders, and Rumble Fish. I like Rumble Fish alot cuz I read it a long time ago. I haven't seen all of the movies in his filmography either.

Anybody esle enjoy his version of Bram Stokers Dracula? With Gary Oldman playing the part of Dracula and Anthony Hopkins as Van Helsing? I loved that movie man!

I saw Apocalypse Now Redux last week. Amazing movie and I find it hard to believe he made an even better one.

Kevin Cunningham 07-13-2007 10:31 AM

I've gotta watch more of these, grabbing at least one new one this weekend.

Violetta 07-13-2007 10:35 AM

I didnt really like the Redux version. I bought it and now, whenever I watch it, I just skip all the new parts. I really dont see how any of those addiltional scenes at anything at all to the movie.

Brother Bilo 07-13-2007 02:53 PM

I though Apocolypse Now was boring overall. It moved way too slow to keep my attention for 3 hours, the Redux. Dracula was pretty cool though. Overall, I have to say I'm not that big of a fan.

I would say thx 1138 yet he did not direct, another very famous directory did all of whom formed this little clique.

So I would have to go with American Graffiti

I wait for Francis Ford Coppola last movie Youth without Youth. Should be great! I read that novella written by Mircea Eliade long time ago... I am really curious how Coppola will deal with..
