WTF do these morons predict is going to happen when they set this on fire? I think we may soon have a few new Darwin Awards contestants.

GatorB 07-12-2007 04:39 PM

I hada friend that had abon fire and we threw ONE tire on it and that fucker put up a hell of alot of black smoke. I men so balck that at NIGHT you could see it constrast with the night sky. Not to mention the smell. Oh a tire burns for a LONG time. These fucker here are retards.

crockett 07-12-2007 04:43 PM

Yea not to mention that they forgot about basic physics and that undoubtedly the wood crates will burn well before the tires. So what happens after the wood that's stabilizing the pile all burns away?

_Richard_ 07-12-2007 04:44 PM

that's goign to burn forever and ever..

who lives in that house? lol

Bell 07-12-2007 04:48 PM

I thought burning tires was prohibitted because of the outgassing and toxins they release in the air...

hmmmm.....

Brother Bilo 07-12-2007 04:53 PM

Looks to me like they are just trying to climb it, where is the tire fire that everyone is talking about?

MattO 07-12-2007 04:57 PM

I wonder how close it really is to that house, the angle and lens makes it look right on top of it but I'm sure it was shot to make it look much closer than it actually is.

Good point.

I doubt it'll collapse evenly... but hopefully, for anything flammable (including people) within 100 yards of the thing, it will.

Do tires get really sticky quickly? If so, maybe the thing'll just tar together.

That house won't survive that AT ALL.

evildick 07-12-2007 06:15 PM

I would be pissed if I owned that house. They are going to have to abandon it if they light that on fire. No way it would be habitable with all that toxic smoke near it.

Well I'm sure it's still close enough to fuck up the house. If you look close, you can see a swimming pool in the back yard, then grass, then crates. Also looks like the ground around it was already burned before because it's black.

Just the massive heat from this would likely do damage to the house, much less the smoke and suet.

crockett 07-12-2007 08:53 PM

btw this is in Ireland

pudcat 07-12-2007 09:33 PM

Looks remarkably like a "structure" the locals have created for the TDF
