Question of The Day.

I was up late last night. Started talking to my buddy about random what if's and would you's. (Don't ask, mostly would you hit that)

And i come up with an interesting question.
Suppose some scientists needed "guinea pigs" for their experiment and they asked you. The experiment would involve having you frozen (100% chance you will live after being frozen) for X amount of years. Where you choose how many years you would like to be frozen. For every year you are frozen you will receive $725,000. The catch is that the scientists haven't perfected aging yet. So you will continue aging giving up X years of your life.

The question is, how many years would you give up if any..

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 07-11-2007 01:03 PM

like i said on AIM, 5 years :)

Brother Bilo 07-11-2007 01:05 PM

Thats a lot of money, but money isn't everything. I'd rather live.

polish_aristocrat 07-11-2007 01:07 PM

one year for $725k

but i wouldnt want to deal with all the media stuff etc after that

StuartD 07-11-2007 01:08 PM

2 years... hand me $1.5mil after I'm done and I'll be happy.
I'll be happy I got that much sleep, not that I got that much money :glugglug

Casa Nova 07-11-2007 01:11 PM

1 year, id be the first to be unfrozen, so i can write the first book about my experience, make millions off that, also do the tv interviews etc. that $745,000 adventure would turn into a franchise of shit that I'd make of it, and turn it into so much more. I can see it now ..... Casa Nova "The Frozenman" haha

Fap 07-11-2007 01:11 PM

Personally, i wouldn't do it at all.
My friend had the wrong idea, he said do it for 20 years and get $14.5M
I value life too much i guess

never said you would have haha. you guys are making so many assumptions

Sands 07-11-2007 01:45 PM

I don't think I'd do it at all. A lot can happen in a year, and perhaps I would miss something that would be worth much, much more than any sum of money.

GhengisBong 07-11-2007 01:48 PM

I seen this on the twilight zone

J. Falcon 07-11-2007 01:52 PM

fuck no!!

Fap 07-11-2007 08:48 PM

Spunky 07-11-2007 08:51 PM

I'd be down for a quad

madawgz 07-11-2007 08:55 PM

Fap 07-11-2007 09:20 PM

CuriousToyBoy 07-11-2007 09:44 PM

Fap 07-13-2007 01:17 PM

mechanicvirus 07-13-2007 01:21 PM

I would buy out the company who controls the freezing process and make a profit.

who 07-13-2007 01:21 PM

I"d give up 20 years

Violetta 07-13-2007 03:35 PM

2 years... then I would be back before I turned 30 as a millionare! :)

Aquarius 07-13-2007 04:40 PM

2 years would do it.

mattz 07-13-2007 04:42 PM

I'd do a year or two...what happens when you are frozen though? Do you just go into a really long dream or what?

D 07-15-2007 03:01 PM

I don't think I'd do it at all.... not even one year.

Living life's where it's at. The money doesn't go with ya.

For you guys that say you'd do it, I wonder how much of your wealth you'd be willing to give back at the end of your life if you could just live one more healthy year.

Fap 09-17-2007 01:29 PM

blast from the past!

GAMEFINEST 09-17-2007 01:35 PM

2 years probably

That is reasonable.
I was curious to see how much money meant to people.. would they give up their life for it

tranza 09-17-2007 04:00 PM

Probably 2 years over here too.

But how did you guys come up with that number exactly???
