How long did it take you to set up LIMTED TRIALS with NATS & Epoch?

How long?

We are going on FOUR WEEKS and the fucking things still don't work right. I know this can not be the norm and we have been given incompetent techs.:mad::mad::mad:

Matt_WildCash 07-11-2007 01:54 AM

4 weeks is nothing, originially took us 2+ months back 3 years ago. CCbill took even longer as there system for upgrades is very very difficult.

Whatever time frame you think you'll get something done in, or whatever your programmer tells you is a reasonable time frame. Triple it at least.

Matt

Why don't you send me the ticket # so I can review why you are having delays rather than posting on here?

I'd like to know who you are and what is holding this issue up.

JMM 07-11-2007 11:13 AM

I have been in this business for 11 years and I would say that NATS is top 5 in my list of most responsive companies.

JMM 07-11-2007 11:17 AM

Oh..and let me add that Epoch would also make my top 5.

Can I sell those on ebay, like airline miles or something? I have no interest in bro points.

Plus, I don't think so, aren't bro points based on drink purchases, limo rides, lap dances, hand shakes, simultaneous drug usage and/or party vip invites? I am basing what I said on actual business experience.

Let me know ASAP, before I list those on ebay, don't want to have to end an auction early.

I don't want stir shit up, but come on, you've been in business 11 years, you probably did business with 100s of different companies... and epoch and nats just happens to be in your top 5? If they actually are, that's great, but it sounded like you are just trying to score "bro" points with your comments in this thread...

Nope, no bro points, they actually are.

fuzebox 07-11-2007 11:57 AM

UpgradePlus is super easy, and NATS makes it even easier. Any competent programmer should be able to set it up in a few hours at the most.

The anonymous people who complain here instead of contacting us are 99% of the time the ones who either refuse to use the ticket system or never reply to the responses in their tickets.

If you're going to complain, at least say who you are.

SkeetSkeet 07-11-2007 12:05 PM

we had Strongbox do our backend ... took about a week for 20+ sites ;)

So what ticket(s) do you have in the system regrading this?

vvq 07-11-2007 05:10 PM

fuzebox is a genius. he had us setup pretty quick. it really shouldn't take long. hardest part was getting our upgrade page approved by paycom actually. no nudity :/

Hi John,
I just sent you an ICQ. This issue was resolved shortly after it was posted, so nobody from our camp came back to check it. I'm still not sure what took so long, but 4 weeks is WAY to long to not have an issue resolved. :2 cents:

I heard you may be upset about this post, lets talk.

Phoenix 08-20-2007 07:29 PM

eh..shouldnt be taking that long...try another approach..obviosuly something is up

It WAS resolved after this thread was started. I was just letting NATS know because they were asking who and what was going on.

After Shock Media 08-20-2007 10:20 PM

I will be frank and honest. When I tried out nats the install was an utter nightmare. Nobody gave up crucial information before purchase. The phone walk through was useless as I could not understand a word that was being said. My copy came with no docs and I could not find the magical ticket system. I paid for a few months while attempting to get it going before I cancelled due to at the time severe issues. However I am sure they more than likely have fixed such issues but at the time a year or two back the delays, lack of information, key issues never spoken before the sale and lack of support turned me away.

BobG 08-20-2007 10:35 PM

It can be complicated yeah, because to implement, you're working between NATS, your host, Epoch, and you. Can and often does, take a while. Keep at it, you'll get it.

It was quite a learning curve for us, but you are right, it's a combo of things and all has to work together seamlessly. Our limited trials was a nightmare, but like I said, there were several variables and it's impossible to get them all on the same page at the same time.

With that said, I'm happy with NATS as it is a powerful program. But you would put in the same amount of work with any system and probably have the same issues.
