How many of you who are married, are sleeping in seperate beds?

just wondering

how many of the married couples are sleeping together and how many sleep in seperate beds / rooms? :glugglug

please share your experiences / thoughts on this if you don't mind :)

haven't slept in the same bed with my wife since long before we got married.

we're polar opposites when it comes to sleeping comfortably.

2 people - 2 beds
the only way to survive for me

Horny Dude 07-10-2007 01:51 PM

Does it count if you are on the couch most nights or in the doghouse??

SleazyDream 07-10-2007 01:53 PM

can i fuck the wives of all those who sleep in seperate beds?

tranza 07-10-2007 02:05 PM

I'm not married, so here's a bump out of curiosity.

ztik 07-10-2007 02:06 PM

Thats pretty interesting

With my girl we sleep right next to eachother and when one of us wakes up or toses in the middle of the night the other one automaticly moves.

Like i'll roll over to my side and she will too or vice versa

BlackCrayon 07-10-2007 02:08 PM

It might work for some people but just about every couple that i knew of that slept in seperate beds ended up cheating, divorced, etc.

chris01282 07-10-2007 02:46 PM

been married for almost 14 years now, and I still sleep with her, I talk to her and most of all, I trust her without question

looks like I met and married the right one...

RayBonga 07-10-2007 02:49 PM

If you can't sleep with your wife you may as well not make love to her either.

Ridiculous.

NinjaSteve 07-10-2007 04:27 PM

Is this for real? I saw this on a movie the other day and I was thinking the same thing!

i sleep in the same bed...not sure why anyone would want to sleep in different beds...to each their own

F U S I O N 07-10-2007 05:14 PM

I sleep in the bed with her at night but Ive been noticing how much better I seem to sleep when I nap in the afternoon in bed by myself

shivervan 07-10-2007 05:22 PM

sound's weird

After Shock Media 07-10-2007 06:56 PM

I also do yet out of medical neccesity right now instead of preference, I must sleep on an airbed but both beds are pushed together and in essence make one bed. When away we do sleep in same bed.

However for those thinking it sounds wierd. It used to be the norm for most couples until fairly recently.

Roy and I have our own seperate offices/bedrooms/BRs. I'm up with the birds, as he is hitting the hay. I never did care for sleeping with anyone.

Love me, snuggle me and go away. :thumbsup

Spiegelau 07-10-2007 07:10 PM

I've heard of couples (famous) who sleep in different beds in different ROOMS in order to achieve a deep, comfortable sleep.

wyldworx 07-10-2007 07:16 PM

you hit my problem on the head which is why i get none atm.

Been sleeping in the same bed for 8 years :)

TheJimmy 07-10-2007 10:55 PM

I honestly wouldn't mind a separate bed situation for the sleep factor...a Cal King is seriously almost too small. I'd prefer another arms reach or so distance so the rolling etc you wouldn't bump into the other person...

Shey 07-10-2007 11:06 PM

My parents have slept in separate bedrooms for the last 5 years...:Oh crap
Needless to say, I very much doubt they have any kind of a sexual life anymore...:upsidedow

Rochard 07-10-2007 11:13 PM

I remember "I Love Lucy" and I always thought it odd that they slept in seperate beds.

My wife and I tend to go to bed at different times; I go to bed later. I snore - and so does my wife. Usually one of us would wake up because of the snoring, and then stumble into the guest room to get some sleep. About two months ago my wife just started going to bed in the guet room. I was odd at first but we both sleep better.

A few weeks ago we had an overnight guest and our guest room was occupied. Instead of crawling into the bed she slept with our daughter. I thought I would be nice, and I crashed out on our new huge couch without ever going upstairs. Turns out no one slept in the master bedroom.

Some things are better left until you're 70...

Boobzooka 07-11-2007 12:49 AM

We're married, still in love, with seven years of separate rooms, and a happy drama-free relationship. The only excuse for an adult not having their own bedroom is if you can't afford a bigger house. Otherwise stop slumming it and get your own space.
