Looking for a OUTSTANDING Amsterdam data center
Allright, I am looking for a well trusted data center in Amsterdam. The reason being I am not going to take the time to upload gigs upon gigs of content but would rather rely on somebody close by where I could fly in, plug in my USB hard drives, upload and then head back to home base.
Anybody have any good recommendations? Thanks |

[QUOTE=ServerGenius;12731447]There's only 1 REAL datacenter in Amsterdam GlobalSwitch.
/QUOTE] Based on what? I'm sure there are enough datacenters that have more plus points than globalswitch. (power/ security etc.) Take also a look at www.eunetworks.nl The biggest dutch ISP's are here located. |

what are you talking about with security/power? Globalswitch doesn't have any issues I can get dual feeds of each 32Amps in each rack? You won't even be able to access the parking without proper authorization let alone getting access to the building / datafloors I've wondered before I think you confuse globalswitch with another datacenter. Unlike most Dutch datacenters globalswitch is one of the very few datacenters which was built as a datacenter. Most others are converted office buildings hence the power/cooling/security problems. I mean seriously there's maybe 2 datacenters that could be compared in the whole country that could be compared to the level of globalswitch maybe 1 in the Amsterdam area ALL others aren't even close to the level of globalswitch. You must be confusing globalswitch with some other datacenter that uses global in its name. :thumbsup |
