Give us some background. What kind of site it is? There are diffrent ways to drive traffic for diffrent kinds of websites.

start searching google for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to get qualified (targeted) traffic from search engines. the theory here is that if people are searching for something and your site comes up, they are already qualified customers because they're looking for what you have.

if it's a TGP/MPG, you'll want to set up traffic trades and buy traffic to fuel those trades.

any site you have you'll want to start trading links, and do ABC or ABCD trades for better SEO.

advertise on adult forums, adult groups, write an article and get people to read it... there are tons of things you can do to start getting inbound traffic. And all of it takes a SHITLOAD of time.

also, once you have some traffic already, you should develop further and post your site to databases of submission tools e.g. Chameleon ( http://www.chameleonsubmitter.com/suggest.php ) to get more people sending galleries your way.
