Both are good, but your sample page is exceptional IMO. Could be a little more simple but I still like it.

both looking 3/5!

they are ok, the second one is a really good design but it loses it a bit on the bottom right corner where the girl is over the pink girls on the background. apart from that, i really like that second one.

I'd hit it.
