yep, I have aids.

they help me with my updates, submissions, bookkeeping, writing, etc.

I wouldn't be able to do what I do without AIDS.

Aids - plural of aid.
Aides - plural of aide.

Aid - a person or thing that aids or furnishes assistance; helper; auxiliary.
Aide - an assistant or helper, esp. a confidential one.

They are synonyms, and "aids" is a perfectly valid word to refer to the same thing. Unfortunately, the acronym AIDS kinda screwed with the plural of "aid" in terms of everyday language.
