the cage stays open but she likes to sleep in it. Its a good thing to have until she's trained for when we have to leave her for a bit.

When I had to put my dog (rottie/black lab x) of 15 years down (had him from when he was 8 weeks old) I said I would not get another dog. Three days after I put my dog down one of my buddies dogs had puppies, (pure bred pit bulls) and when I saw them I knew I had to have one. My girlfriend said that if I got a pit bull she would move out. She was influenced by all the media hype about how pitties are vicious monsters, without ever even knowing one. I got the dog anyways and when she saw him she fell in love with the little guy instantly. How could you not with a look like this

Good luck with your new puppy he should be quite the handful. Terriers in general usually have quite a bit of energy and really enjoy being around people.
