Strange Stuff on Trip to Miami
 

I'm currently in Miami (going to be attending Affiliate Summit starting tomorrow).

I flew from Vancouver, Canada with a stop in Houston.

While in Houston, I heard the strangest announcement - "All passengers please be advised that making jokes or humor at airport personnel will result in your arrest."

Those were the exact words, the announcement seemed to repeat every 15 minutes or so while I was waiting in the terminal. I made sure to listen to it several times and write it down exactly as it was announced.

All I can say is WTF?!!!!

I've heard that announcement at that airport before also... found it pretty strange

They lost their sense of humour in Houston

I think the message before that is about bombs and not to even joke about them.

I heard that too in Houston a few days ago coming back from a wedding in Phoenix.

Everyone is very sensitive about terrorism so no jokes are allowed.
