Difference between the Dell 8200 and 4500?

What's the difference between the Dell Dimension 8200 and the Dimension 4500? Only thing different i see is that they each use different types of ram.

The main difference is how large of a boat they will securely anchor down. :Graucho

I have 8200, and it floats my boat.

Different types of RAM suggests a different motherboard and chipset. Chances are the memory bus, etc. are faster on the higher-end machine. These days, that can make a lot more performance difference than a few megahertz.

4500 is nice, I have 2 of em that I use networked.

XP pro is a pain in the ass, always seems to bug out when working on a lot of apps at the same time and wants to send an error report to MS, why not just release OS's that work?
