That un-titled trailer before Transformers from JJ Abrams Bad Robot... has a name - Cloverfield - The only info I could find about it was at Hollywood Reporter - it seems to be top secret and they are keeping a lid on it including censoring the youtubers who grabbed it in the theater. Some people are saying Godzilla in Imdb.com.

and...The Will Smith trailer for I Am Legend caught my eye as well. The most important thing about this movie is it is Directed by Francis Lawrence, famous for music videos , he also Directed the graphic novel film starring Keanu Reeves called Constantine.

wow, no one else wondered about this trailer? - there's a ton of buzz on it out there...

Looks pretty good.

I went and looked it up when I got home, found the same shit. There are also a couple of Flash sites about it that are puzzles you have to solve.

Bloggers are saying Godzilla, Voltron or something else. But it's JJ doing a film for $30 mil. entirely shot hand held and POV.

I am hearing more and more that it is H.P. Lovecraft inspired from the Cthulu Mythos. I could get fired up about this...The Cthulhu Mythos is a branch of horror fictions which has stood the test of time. Begun more than 80 years ago, it's not quite a shared background, not quite a genre of it's own, not quite a series of homages and inside jokes by the writers who created it, but it has elements of all of these (along with some damn fine story-telling). It has inspired some hoaxes and conspiracies, some terrible movies, and even a few popular video games.

I have also heard VOLTRON might be the case here.

I would say Godzilla.. but if so why would they keep it secret? They already made the remake in early 2k late 90's when ever it was.

However being Hollywood pretty much can't pull an original idea out of it's ass these days.. My guess is it will be another Godzilla.
