Virtual hosting with SSH access
 

Hey people,

I'm looking for cheap virtual hosting for porn. One of the things I'm looking for that's important to me is SSH access because I like to do my PHP/Perl coding on the host directly since it's more convenient. I also preferably want a full set of utilities, for example I contacted HostGator and they have SSH access but no support for lynx. I like to use lynx for quick browsing while logged into SSH.

So, spam me with virtual hosts with SSH!

You might wanna check out a VPS (Virtual Private Server), at least until you get enough traffic to move up to an honest to god dedicated machine. They are really nice for dev work.

You basically get a virtualized machine, with root access, and can do what ever you like.. and very cheap. Slicehost.com, and Linode.com are two that I know of.

DirectFiesta, not quite sure what "jail" shell access means. Will lynx still work (for instance?)

Jail means that the SSH access is limited to your account ( folder ).

What drjones said, but if you are looking for a cheaper VPS provider, give VPSLink a try.
