Enter/disclaimer page. Yes or no?

How many people use a disclaimer page that requires the surfer to click an enter link to go into the main part of the site?

My real quesition is, is it a requirement or highly recommended? If yes, am I at any legal risk by not using one for my fetish blog?

Nice, simple design. Where'd you get that?

If you don't own the porn the only disclaimer you need is on the page itself stating that all content is 2257 compliant to your knowledge so a enter page is worthless to you if you are not a pay site.

I found it after digging around the net for a day or so, and then hacked away at it to tweak it to my liking. I recommend that for anyone, just find a theme that has the right layout and then play with the stylesheet to customize it.

If memory serves, a splash/warning page is not required by law. However, it's generally a good idea to have one. If, god forbid, you were ever targetted by the feds and your lawyer needed ammunition for your defense, the splash/warning page could go a long way in showing that you put forth an effort to keep unwanted parties (such as underaged individuals) from accessing your site.

I'm not a lawyer, so please don't take my advice as any legal counsel. Perhaps another, more experienced webmaster will chime in here.
