I hear there will be star wars 7, 8 & 9
Hi, I do not know if these interviews are true but if they are I am very excited, I will post the source but according to an interview with George Lucas there will be an episode 7 8 and 9. I am really excited to see how this turns out.
The George Lucas Interviews at SuperShadow.com Wednesday, July 4, 2007 George Lucas, though I have not met you in person, I hope to someday. By the way, my name is Justin. My whole life, ever since I had seen Star Wars when I was about 7 years old, I have been inspired by the story line and how you captured the imagination of millions. When I was se7en years old, my dad (Charles) had asked if I was interested in going to see Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace in 1999. Before I knew it, there had been so many people rushing to see this new movie. I wasn't sure why at the time, until I experienced a great adventure that had taken place in a galaxy far, far away. You and your imaginative visions of a great fantastic tale of Star Wars have changed my life. If you have any more ideas of a new Star Wars sequel trilogy, I would like to be of some assistance to you some day. Though I am 16 years old already, I also have a vision of another tale. Before any thing happens, I would like to await for your answer before I could plan a fantastic idea for a new trilogy. I am glad to have met you, George Lucas. Your Hugest Fan, Justin B. George Lucas: Your love of Star Wars is better than the pre-tribulation rapture. Thanks for being such a passionate fan, who loves Star Wars above all others. You are my favorite kind of fan. I will cherish this comment for the rest of my life. I certainly am glad that you have enjoyed all the Star Wars films. I am planning to create yet another trilogy called Episode 7, 8 and 9. I would love to read your ideas about Star Wars. Please send them in to me. Thanks. Dear Mr. Lucas, I am a great fan of Star Wars. The first Star Wars movie I saw was Episode 6. Of course, I was confused because I didn?t know anything about Star Wars and that was the last episode. Then I was 8 years old, but now I am 15 years old and have watched all of the episodes. I was able to make sense of the whole saga and I grew to love the story and admire the characters. I am a very imaginative person and Star Wars is just my kind. I have a few questions. Please, please answer them! 1) If Padme survived, would she have gone back to Naboo with her babies? 2) Didn?t Vader ever wish to see Padme again? Does Vader know he was being used by Sidious? 3) How did Vader find out he had a son? Did Vader think of turning Luke Skywalker to the dark side before? 4) Why is Vader surprised when Obi-Wan?s body disappears when Vader kills Obi-Wan in A New Hope? 7) Will there be a 7th episode? Thanks a million and good luck for the future. George Lucas: I certainly am glad to have you as a fan. You have made my day by being so positive and upbeat about my creation. More fans should follow your example. If Padme had survived Revenge of the Sith, then she could never go back to Naboo. She would have taken the Skywalker twins to a backwater planet and remained hidden from Vader and Sidious. You need to remember that Sidious tells Vader that Vader killed Padme. It is now impossible for Vader to see her alive. Vader doesn?t attend Padme?s funeral. Vader found out that Luke Skywalker was his son a short time after Luke destroyed the death star. Imperial spies told Vader who Luke really is. Vader immediately wanted to turn Luke to the dark side so that they together could vanquish Sidious. Vader is shocked that Obi-Wan has vanished because Vader is unaware that Qui-Gon Jinn has found a way for a Jedi to vanish at death and become a Force ghost. Episode 7 will happen many years from now. |
Worst reason to be excited EVER. :)

I love star wars, and would really love if they made more episodes. But this kinda made me sceptical:

This is old news. Shortly after Ep III dropped in theaters, he had his staff sign NDA on 7, 8, 9.
If he didn't fuck up Star Wars with Episodes 1, 2, 3 - I might have been interested in it. I'm pretty certain 7, 8, 9 will involve Jar Jar's offspring as a clumsy fucking annoying Jedi. If Lucas has any fucking brains, he'll use Timothy Zahn's trilogy. The only problem with that is all the original cast are too old. |
yeah i heard about that too

Dude, that super shadow website is a lame joke. You really believe the stuff on that site? I've read a lot of interviews with Lucas, and he doesn't talk like the stuff attributed to him on that site.
You REALLY believe this stuff? 5:57 A.M. Receive phone call from Lucas explaining what time I should show up today. Lucas says we have a very busy day and should get started at 7:30 A.M. 7:10 A.M. I leave the guest cottage and walk to the building that houses the coffee shop. I order the most expensive cup of coffee they have. 7:25 A.M. After finishing off three brutally hot cups of coffee, I head over to Lucas? office. Lucas is already there and his assistant shows me into his office. Lucas and I greet and he asks me how I slept and then he goes on about what he did last night. We talk for about 10 minutes about trivial things. 7:35 A.M. Lucas hands me a folder, which details all the shots we will be reviewing that day. Lucas takes several minutes to go over everything and asks me if I have any questions. A few minutes later Rick McCallum (producer of Revenge of the Sith) walks into Lucas? office with a big grin on his face. McCallum begins to rattle on about a book he read last night. It focused on the history of Genghis Kahn and the Mongol Empire. McCallum explains how the Mongols would encircle their enemies and slowly collapse the circle until everyone in the battle zone was dead. McCallum goes on talking for what seems forever. Finally, he comes to the end of his tirade and Lucas says that?s all very fascinating. Lucas hands McCallum a folder showing all the shots we will be reviewing and McCallum seems truly excited. Of course, if I was receiving a producer?s salary, I would be jumping for joy also. 8:20 A.M. Lucas, McCallum and I head over to the screening room where we will watch the footage of Revenge of the Sith. A few people from I.L.M are there to take notes on what Lucas says about the film footage. The first images we see are of Obi-Wan riding off into the sunset on Tatooine. Lucas immediately says he wants the light from the twins suns to be more intense. Lucas wants the shot to be brighter in order to convey that there is a new hope at the end of the movie. One person from I.L.M. asks Lucas a few questions. |
Why would he do that? 1, 2 and 3 were fucking lame. Ohhhhhhhhhh wait, I know, he'll still make a billion dollars off it.
