question about using older content.

how do i purchase or gain the rights to use rare 70's and early 80's porn. I'm building a new site, and I wanna stream older videos.

What's about 19th century and early 20th century porn? Where can I buy the rights on it? Are those copyrights are still working?

Well what I wanna know is does 2257 apply to this footage?

Docs on models are not required it the content was made before 1995. The problem is COPYRIGHTS. I have no idea who can hold the copyrights for 19th century porn.

I am opening a " french xxx nostalgia " site.

2257 is of no concern to me since I am Canadian, my ass is located in Canada, I will not travel again to the USA, my servers are in Canada and my biller is in Europe.

But for others, the date of re-issue ( or re-publication , or re-print ) could come in play.

Check with a competent and knowledgeable lawyer. :2 cents:

2257 DOES NOT APPLY to an old content.

P.S. OLD = everything before 1995.

ok well thats what I thought also but I was thinking about copyright and it seems to me to try and track down old film companies for the films you want and see if its obtainable.
I have also heard about a 20 year lean on films and music where it is not under copyright law unless it is renewed after 20+years.
I would like to find some of this content myself for a like site:2 cents::thumbsup

Not looking for anyone in particular...I'm just thinking that there has to be a market for that niche. And I see very few sites offering the older stuff.

Maybe run a spam me thread for it.
Honestly I think it would work:2 cents:

Don't thin so. Who will spam there? All those over-dead photographers who were shooting it 80-100 years ago? :winkwink:
