Man, all you people whining about free porn are really starting to get annoying. Yes, it's here, and it's costing us money. Too bad, it's here to stay. What seems like crappy income to most of us european and american webmasters, actually is a lot to the chinese, eastern european, russian etc. webmasters. They can afford to work for less money.
So, even if sales would drop to the point where it wouldn't be worth it to make tgps and galleries for a western webmaster, there still would be enough money in it for webmasters from the poorer countries.

The only option we webmasters from western countries have is to come up with new ideas and try to convert those. Otherwise, we will eventually become obsolete.

As a sidenote, anyone wanting to reduce the amount of free porn should simply start submitting high quality softcore galleries. Most TGPs also list those.

its just about the level at which you distribute it.

Why doesn't anyone who makes no money have to take responsibility for themselves? They blame everything under the sun without looking at what they do.

A lot of galleries plain out suck. That's a huge reason people can't make money.

They promote the same overused sites as everyone else. Another reason their conversions suck ass.

It's not all the fault of TGP's and that evil free porn. No one makes anyone build a gallery and submit it. There's tons of other ways to make money, but all anyone can do is build a gallery, and run it through the autosubmitter it seems.

Anyone who is TRULY unhappy with their conversions can make their own damn paysite and run that.

People whine too much about everything. It's a whiny world we live in.

TGPs require close to no investment at all, that's why there are so many people making those instead pf paysites. Also, TGPs are easy to grow large. Within a few months anyone could create multiple 50k TGPs.
Ofcourse, galleries require even less investment and creativity, so there are even more people making those.

Yes, free porn is costing us all money. I just showed my girlfriend's mother - who doesn't even know how to turn on a computer - a few sites, and the first thing she asked me was: why in the world are people paying you for porn? It seems to me they can find all they could ever need for free...

I must be picky as fuck. I can never find free porn of the stuff I like.

OK, just deleded all my sites, when should I expect my conversions to get better?

Its not TGPs that bother me, its programs like Kazaa. You can download hundreds of large 100+mb ripped porn movies. Do a search on bangbus for example.

hundreds of thousands of new users are installing kazaa monthly.
Free high quality movies (with sound) straight from paysites being downloaded by millions.
