Opening SIT file

I just got a zip file that is SIT I dont have a MAC here and was wondering how I can unzip it or something.

Just going to point out a few pet peeves of mine...

1. If an archive isn't .zip, it isn't a zip file. Zip is just one of many compression standards.

2. Stuffit isn't Mac-only. It is a third-party compression format available on all sorts of platforms. As someone said, you can download it online for Windows.

3. It isn't a MAC. It's a Mac. Why do people think it's an acronym?

Sorry. Pure nitpicking. There were just too many pet peeves in this one short post for me to restrain myself. Nothing personal. ;)
