Blog Question (Do You Link Pic(s) to Gallery or Sponsor?)
 

I'm curious to know what you all do. I see blogs that link the picture directly to the sponsor, and then I see blogs that link the picture directly to a gallery. Why do you choose the option you do? Right now I'm linking directly to the sponsor, but I think that may change soon. Have you found that linking to a gallery improves your overall sales?

www.strictlybigtits.com is one of mine. I like the image to the bigger image. That way, I am not sending blind traffic to the sponsors. Below the text is the link to the sponsor, and the people click. Filters it down a bit, but that shows you better ratios over all.

I link to both. I have found I have more sales that go to a gallery than direct. I sometime also link to galleries I have created on my blogs. This way the surfer has more of a chance to hit one of my trades or banner ads.

To the gallery. Feeds without actual content aren't good to keep bookmarking traffic on blogs.

I never opt to link an image, particularly a small one, directly to a tour. People that visit blogs are generally interested in reading what you have to say and want to know what they're getting. Text links to tours are the best way to go - and small images to big ones or to matching galleries.

That would depend on the type of traffic IMO, I have found that with SE traffic it's better to link pictures to tours and textlinks to join page....
