Who sells B/G scenes for 400$ exclusive?
 

I got few webamsters recently telling me that they buy hard core scenes for 400$ exclusive..How is that possible?

Same would be in Chezh and Hungary or even 1.5 times more


So how is that possible. if that was i guy buy 3 guys are asking me to shoot for 400$ What is going on?

I could sell it for that...no way in hell I would though.

There are people with lower overhead and more creative ways of doing business who are also starving for business and will take whatever they can get.

In all honesty...I have done hardcore exclusive for that price in the past. Probably one of the dumbest mistakes I have ever made in this business....BUT....It was also on a bulk deal where the client was taking 3 to 6 scenes with the same models.

Still...Pretty fucking stupid of me.

For what it's worth....Any client who is that cheap is not worth shooting for. They will end up being a HUGE pain in the ass and demanding more out of you for less. :2 cents:

you should never sell for that amount, too many guys out there seeling scenes for that cheap and it screws up all photographers pricing out there. don;t even worry about it, stick to your prices with a profit you are comfortable with and stick to your guns!

That is 100% true for practically any business in any industry.

I never had the late payment issue since I have my clients pay 100% up front, but I have had some issues with clients being a huge pain.

Oddly enough, most well funded and professional clients never complain about the price or try to negotiate down. They never bitch about the work because they know exactly what they are getting, they order regularly, and are a pleasure to work with.

You get what you pay for and unless you've seen the guys work and its good (and he agrees to shoot the same quality) you might be in for some lower quality content.

I cant possibly shoot a scene for less than $3500 here in l.a.

I'm pretty sure that photographers who sell that cheap use the same models to shoot a few more scenes in the same apartment. so the video or pictures you buy may be exclusive but chances are high later you will find very similar looking content on some other site.

There is no minimal chances that video guy is $100,either make-up $50,or even girl in Russia for $250..... except for girl...those are prices in EU...as far as i know,lot of my friends shots for much less money then that in Russia,lol
To sell sceene a $400 hardcore...sorry not posible..only model in Hungary,Czech where i mostly shot is minimal $400 + 20% agency fee....more often 500-700$ per model only.... Video guy can do it for $50 and make-up for $30...location as super luxury villa is like $500 per day..so when u shot 5 or so sceenes it came to $100 per sceene for location...
so nope...we sell HC sceene for $1000-1800 depends on model,location etc...

I've bought for that price from producers outside the USA and I've bought from producers within the USA that charge more than 4 times that and produce for some of the largest sites. One of these producers that shoots for the biggest sites, delivered me the content months after the promised time, and the quality was if not the same but worst than the lower priced non-usa producer's I use. The only downside being the non-usa models usually dont speak full english.

all depends on where you're at and what your game is. $400 seems low to be selling for, but you could definitely make them for that in the right places with the right people still, but its getting harder to do because big name places pay girls so much in part just to drive prices up and some girls think that 2 days into the adult business their pussy is worth $5000.

These prices crack me up. I wouldn't film a hardcore scene where I made as little as $400 *profit*, much less charge for the service in total.

I bought some stuff at bargain basement prices before, the quality was absolutely horrid and I had to throw the content away.

I'm not saying that more expensive content is necessarily better, but I don't see how anyone can do $400 unless they live in a location where they only have to pay the model $50.

I am in the Bay Area, California... and know plenty of girls that will do hardcore scenes for $250.
Makeup would cost $0, they can do their own.
And these would be with fresh girls, not seen all over the place. and yes they are hot.
Camera man = $0 (me). male model max $100. location: $0 (home or office)

If I can produce scenes for $400 in the bay area, then there is no reason why someone outside of the USA can not shoot for that price.

And yes I have took a stab at shooting content in the past, and these prices are possible. Especially when you shoot the model for multiple scenes in 1 day.

One reason would be that someone couldn't possibly make a living that way. Sure, it is possible to film some scenes on the cheap using some inexpensive local amateur girls, and your male friend fucking her on your couch in your own condo or house, that might come to a grand total of a few hundred bucks budget.

But try doing that week in and week out. You'll never get enough models for that price to sustain more than a few shoots. And forget make a living at it and producing top notch content reliably.

Boy girl can be shot for $400. Using female models who can't find work, a mate to do the stud work and shooting it yourself. It is possible. The question over how much you sell it for has little to nothing to do with the price you sell it for.

You can shoot a scene that costs $40 and is worth $4,000, and yes I have done it, and you can shoot a scene costing $4,000 that is worth $40. Not done the last one but got close to it once.

The factor that determines the sale price is the value of the end product and not what it costs to produce. Every week I get someone trying to sell me boy girl videos for what ever price I will pay. They send me samples and bother me all the time. The last one was awful. It was not "Amateur" it was crap. Sorry if that sounds arrogant, but it's true.

I will buy all the decent boy girl movies anyone can shoot for $400. I can sell them all the time for 1,000 Euros to the DVD companies plus leave myself with Internet rights. Problem is no one who can shoot decent content will sell it for $400 or even $1,000.

I seriously doubt there are producers who produce decent quality b/g scenes for $400. Yes, they might produce total crap for that, but then whoever buys them is making a mistake. If I'm wrong, and there really are producers making good quality exclusive b/g scenes for $400, then they really need to work on their marketing strategies.

Silly question, but how long is a 'scene' on average? I'm thinking about shooting some fresh content in my city and I'd consider selling it fairly cheap & exlclusively. I already have all the preliminaries out of the way (sexy teen talent, lawyer, 2257, model release, HD equipment, lighting, etc etc).

Also does the footage need to be edited or do most prefer a video of the entire shoot? (I suck at editing, but I make pretty sexy raw vid lol)
